Do you think we could get it with English subtitles?

Already Posted in the Sonisphere Thread, but I guess a lot of people missed it so it's ok.  :tup

Would love to see DT in an outside setting here in the states.

Europe has all the cool festivals and bands like Haken that do not come to the US very often.

And yes, the drums sounded great.

Wow, Labrie sounds amazing here. Best he's sounded in years

:( Oh wow. I don't listen to Iron maiden as a rule but Bruce sounds dreadful to my ears.

Almost no power in his voice whatsoever and straining all over the place.

:lol Although - I thought - how hilarious would it be if Bruce was singing lead vocals from the cockpit whilst flying ?

Yea I was more talking about the planes, his voice in Aces High was all over the place.  :lol

Bruce sounds a bit sick on this vid.  Still a solid performance of a song that's 30 years old sung in the same key.  Still the greatest frontman of all time though IMO.

As a frontman, no doubt! As a singer, I'll take Klaus Meine any time.

Dickinson is more about the energy and the connection with his audience than being technically perfect.  Does he strain to hit some of the notes in these older tracks? Of course he does.  He originally sang these tunes back in the early 80's, so it should come as no surprise to anyone that he struggles with some of the higher notes.

One thing Bruce is really good at though; he does a very fine job of finding a way to sing the songs and not leave any big smelly clams in his wake.  :-*

As for his "front man" skills...he's one of the best.  Definitely in my top 5, maybe even my top 3.
