Did a night marathon (my first proper 42,2km) in St. Petersburg. It was a late night start so I waited a bit after the finish and got to ring the finisher's bell right at the sunrise.

Good news: it was fun (in a twisted sort of way :lol ), I've got two weeks of vacation ahead, starting Monday, so there's ample time for recovery, and I think I'll need it because right now walking is a bit difficult.

Bad news: just got back to the hotel, it's 6 AM, I can't sleep and I'm too knackered to do anything else, so my roulette's results may be delayed until Monday.

My goal was 9:40/mile. It did not go the way I planned (left leg not fully recovered, it was humid and I also didn't train for late night start) and after mile 6 (out of, you know, 26.2 :lol ) I changed the goal to just finishing with no walking. I ended up with 10:55/mile and only walked through the aid stations. :) For comparison, my half-marathon in April was at 8:24/mile.

Was disappointed with the time at first but now I'm happy I just went for it and did it. There's always next time for doing it faster. Thanks for asking man. :)

I did a few 1/2 marathons 3 decades ago. Never did a full marathon.  In high school (40 years ago) lol. I was captain of the cross country team. I wasn't the fastest but my best time foe 3.0 was 18:48.

Went to a place called Meow Wolf in Denver, it's an interactive art exhibit.  Great place for photos too

That was one of our stops the last time we were in Denver as well, very cool place!
