Self explanatory question. Really just a curiosity off the top of my head.

In my case, 2: Breaking All Illusions (#4*) and The Bigger Picture (#7*)

*Today's update of my top 10 rankings.

Zantera

Hmm. I would probably say 1, and that's Breaking All Illusions. Beneath the Surface would probably be in my top20.
In my spare time I make music! Check it out. :)

I really gotta make a new Top 50 list. But I have a feeling that there may be at least 1 song, and it's definitely from DT12, nothing from ADTOE.

Buddyhunter1

Zero. (though my top 10 consists of tracks from only six albums, so that's not saying a whole lot)

ADTOE and DT12 are both great albums, but I think a problem both of them share (especially DT12) is that the best songs from them aren't quite as good as the best songs from the previous albums, even if said albums as a whole are worse.

KevShmev

Even though I am really big on both albums with Mangini, none.  One or two are probably in the top 20, but the 1992-2002 era was just so freaking awesome, it'll be hard for them to ever write another song that breaks into my top 10.  But you never know...

Although, I will say this, there are probably at least 3 or 4 songs off DT12 that would crack my top 25, and I think that counts for a lot.

It's quite difficult, though, to make a poll to survey people's top25, as the vast majority of us have barely the top10 figured out (or at least sketched) in our mind. How many would be able to tell how many songs from a certain timeframe are in the top25 without taking some time to write it down?

Sir Walrus Cauliflower

I voted 3. BITS, BAI, and IT are all top 10 songs for me.
Local authority on over-intellectualizing.

dragonmaster715

None have made it into my top 10. Breaking all illusions comes pretty close though, top 20. Off the top of my head i can't think of any others, but i'm probably forgetting one.

I've only ever had a top 3. Top 10s and definitely top 100s (DOC you are insane) are too much work.

krands85

Two. Breaking All Illusions is around #5 and Illumination Theory #7-8 - it may be higher, but I feel like it may still have a bit of newness working in it's favour, so I haven't ranked it as high as I could  ;D

Bridges in the Sky is just outside the top 10, OTBOA and Outcry are around 20ish.

EDIT:
6DOIT is the most recent DT album that doesn't have any songs in my top 10.
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

MoraWintersoul

I can't remember whether BAI cracked my top 10 (it certainly cracked the top 20), but none of the others came even close to the top 50. I do have some appreciation for The Looking Glass, though.

It's more of a RR-era phenomenon than an MM-era phenomenon.

I can't confirm if these are actually in the top 10, as DT12 still hasn't made it's way into my rankings yet.

But Breaking all Illusions and Beneath the Surface were right up there for me. I also like Bridges in the Sky and Lost not Forgotten a fair bit but probably not enough to crack the big 10.

Illumination Theory represents the pinnacle of new DT imo so.. That's probably made my top 10. I also really liked The Enemy Inside and Along for the Ride when they were singles but whether they'l;l stand the test of time is to be seen. The Bigger Picture has grown on me the most probably even though I thought I liked Surrender to Reason and Behind the Veil more on first impressions.

So lets just say that might be about 3 definites. And a bunch of other decent titles worth mentioning from the current era.

Tom Bombadil

I don't think any would make my top 30, although BAI and TBP would be close.

ThatOneGuy2112

Two for me: Breaking All Illusions and Illumination Theory. Can't give a definite ranking for them, but I know they just barely crack it.

Another_Won

Without specifics I would think at least two, which is how I voted.  To be fair, we've only had two albums and I think 2 top 10 songs is a pretty good.  I don't think that overall I would say that the last two albums have not contained at least one top ten candidate.

Dublagent66

Breaking All Illusions is the only one.  It's better than the rest of ADTOE and all the songs on DT12 combined.

GasparXR

I don't know where I would place them within my top 10, but Breaking All Illusions, The Looking Glass, The Bigger Picture, and Illumination Theory.

wolfking

IT would be the only song that would make my top 10.  BTV would probably be top 20, but I don't think it would be top 10.

Three. The Bigger Picture (10ish), Far From Heaven (7ish) and my number one, Breaking All Illusions.

PetFish

I really loathe ranking art, especially music.

They're all apples to me, just different tastes and colours, but anyone of them will fill my belly nicely depending on what kind of apple I'm in the mood for.

My favourite apple right now is The Bigger Picture and even though many consider it to be a rotten apple, I love Raw Dog.

Zyzzyva17

Two of them - Breaking All Illusions at #8, and Lost Not Forgotten at #4 (yes, really).

bl5150

One or two off the top of my head (IT and/or BAI) - need to leave room for Images and Words  ;)

Zydar

Breaking All Illusions is in my Top 10.

Surrender To Reason barely misses it, Top 15 though.

BlobVanDam

None come close to my top 20. BITS is the only song that would even be a competitor.

Shadow Ninja 2.0

I voted for Raw Dog, but my real answer would probably be BAI and BTS.

Same here.

?

When I did my list last year, BITS and BAI were in my top 10,  but I'm not sure now... BAI is probably still there.

TheAtliator

They go in and out of my top 10 for the day just as much as any other albums. Usually The Count of Tuscany, Lost Not Forgotten, Outcry, Bridges in the Sky, Breaking All Illusions, Surrender to Reason, or Illumination Theory.
