Well, yeah, but in the holy trinity, The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit are all one, so they're all God, including Jesus... I'm not heavily religious either, so I don't remember how exactly that's explained, but I guess it doesn't have to be explained too much beyond, "It's God, bitches. All powerful."
