The Letter M

A bit of a twist on the "favorites"/"least-favorites" question threads. We all know certain albums get less love than others, but of those albums, which has a song that you really like? There's gotta be one really great song on there that you really like, so of your least favorite over-all album, which is the stand-out favorite track?

-Marc.

Status Seeker from WDADU.

Curious...what makes you like "Status Seeker" more than, say, "Ytse Jam" or "The Killing Hand"?

I'll be honest. I haven't listened through WDADU that many times, and SS stood out to me the most. There's something about the way the lyrics are phrased that intrigues me. I think Charlie sounds better on SS than Ytse Jam too

I think I'll go listen to WDADU now.

Super tough question. But I'm gonna rank Octavarium lower than WDADU today (WDADU would actually be hard to pick a favourite because I like about half of it equally, and the other half not as much). So, Octavarium the song is my favourite today, but can hard to choose that over PA and TROAE.

Tom Bombadil

Either ITPOE, TMOLS, or Repentance. All are mediocre. Can't decide which one is my favorite.

Scorpion

Sacrificed Sons... though tomorrow it might be The Root of All Evil.

Shadow Ninja 2.0

6:00, an uncommon favorite song from an uncommon least favorite album.

My least favorite song from my favorite album is This Is the Life.

Crow

I dunno which of my bottom 3 to call my actual least favorite at any given moment
so
Afterlife from WDADU
The Best of Times from BC&SL
The Bigger Picture from DT12
turns out signatures are fundamentally broken now so here's my passive-aggressive signature about signatures instead

ToT-147

Under a Glass Moon..

No.. Just kidding.. ;D

Ytse Jam it's my chosen one..

Can't pick a least favorite album because I at least like all of their albums, but from my bottom 5 albums my choices would be:

Only A Matter of Time from WDADU
The Count of Tuscany from BC&SL
Trial of Tears from FII
In the Presence of Enemies from SC
Octavarium from 8VM

Hayden

"Ytse Jam" from WDaDU and "The Enemy Inside" from Dream Theater.

Zydar

Only A Matter Of Time, from the debut. The performance on the Budokan DVD made it click for me and now it's my favourite from that album.

wasteland

Depending on the day, Octavarium, Stream Of Consciousness or The Dark Eternal Night.

YtseJamittaja

Lines in the Sand from FII
Status Seeker from WDADU

I'm always surprised at how many people adore "The Count of Tuscany". For me, it's one of two songs that brought down an otherwise fantastic album ("The Best of Times" being the other, but to a lesser degree).

Lowdz

Ministry of Lost Souls.
If I ever listen to SC its pretty much just for this song, and Forsaken.

These Walls, from *VM, although I liked Panic Attack too.  I didn't care for anything else on that album.

TAC
