Hey'all,

I would like to share the DT covers I sung and I will post new ones in the future. Please tell me what you think and if you have feedback!

Space-Dye Vest: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpPxIaMWvxk
Beneath The Surface: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjGiN65PTqs

I need help on which songs to cover, so if you've got an idea, please share it. Keep in mind that most of his vocal melodies are a bit too low for my voice (since he is male) and then it'd be way too high for me to sing an octave higher

Very nice!  :tup I love the subtle harmonies in Space Dye Vest. You have a great voice, and its cool to hear these songs sung by a woman. Do you only do the ballad type songs? If so, I'd love to hear you sing The Silent Man or The Answer Lies Within.

Wow, great covers :tup I really like your voice :) You really add something new and fresh to BTS.
What about doing cover of Surrounded (you could sing first part higher, I'm sure it would sound great), Take Away My Pain or Far from Heaven?

You have a really nice voice! Would love to hear you do Wait for Sleep as well and maybe Wither. As for feedback, is there a reason you mix your voice entirely to the right? The asymmetry makes it a bit more tiring to listen to than it ought to be.

Isn't it only on left speaker? :D It's probably because of mono recording.

I'm happy to hear people like it! I'll definitely look at the songs you're suggesting.

Well, when I record, somehow the left channel only records noise and shit, so I completely got that out afterward. I'd love to record it stereo, but I just started doing this - don't know how and don't have more equipment. ^^"

Hmm I've never recorded vocals so not sure about the left channel noise thing. But whatever DAW you're using for mixing (Audacity?), you should be able to duplicate a mono track and turn that into a stereo one. Once you've got the stereo track, you can pan it whichever way you want.

Thanks, I'll definitely try that! Adobe Audition, so I don't doubt that's possible.

It was a tiny bit distracting to get the entire vocal panned hard to one side.  But nice job.

Sure it is, you can copy and paste left only or right only by selecting a range with the mouse very high in the left or very low in the right areas. That way you can simply clone the good channel to the bad channel. Or you leave it mono, it's one voice into one microphone, it doesn't need to be stereo.

To be honest, didn't expect that good performance. It's really really great. Such a fitting vocal for your voice.

wasteland

What a voice! You are almost as good as I am in my dreams!! :D

Keep them coming, those are really, really great and enjoyable!  :)

Didn't expect such positive comments, that means a lot. Thanks
I'm hoping to get time for more covers.
