The cover of "5 Years in a Livetime" looked very familiar in some way to me for several days, and then it seemed that I was remembering looking at the head of mister Neal Peart, from a book he wrote about a bicycle journey he took after the horrible tragedies associated with his family. Is there some truth to that, and if so can someone give me some explanation about it? Maybe there are threads related to it and people would like to tell me how stupid I am for not already knowing about them which of course would be good fun  :lol, but I don't come around here much so that's my excuse for not being familiar with them. Thank you for any help in getting a clue about this though.

The bicycle tour in Africa was before the personal tragedys.

Gotta agree with hef for the first time in a long time - I'm confused. I'm not understanding the correlation between the 5YiaL/OiaL cover art and that of any of Neil's books or other images. Although I'm sure that MP (who directed Storm Thorgerson on the artwork) and the rest of the band were likely very well aware of what happened to Neil, there is nothing to suggest that the cover art, nor the titles of the releases were in any way, shape or form connected to Neil or his tragedies.

Okay, my bad. I remembered it as being his bicycle trip after the tragedies but now that you folks have straightened me out I now remember it was the motorcycle trip. It was quite a few years ago the last time I even thought about it, so I'm sorry to be so screwed up on it. A friend was telling me about the "Ghost Rider" book and it probably has some pics in it from the Africa trip or something, unless he read both. I only remember the one and he tried to get me to read it but I didn't want to take the time. I'd rather let him tell me the good parts and when I read books it's usually Larry Niven. Anyway, somewhere it seems like from one of his books I feel sure I saw that picture looking down on the top of Neil's head wearing one of those kufi caps or whatever it's called, from that same angle. Look at that scowl on the guy's forehead. I feel sure that's Neil... Somehow it must make sense (I think) that they used that shot of Peart and substituted whatever the structure is for the kufi cap. I remember it as being a mostly red one he was wearing.
