I believe there was one on the guitar picture in the DT12 booklet.

Which makes it even worse that they're still better than a lot of DT covers.

Not really. They're taking someone else's work that they've put a ton of time and effort into already, probably more than would be possible for work like Syme's. People criticize Syme for his use of stock images, but these fan images are ripping off completed images wholesale (and without permission, since we're just messing around). So it's not like fans are making legitimately viable album covers for direct comparison here.
