KevShmev

Featuring songs this time from Scenes from a Memory, Octavarium and the self-titled album.

Lucien

Fatal Tragedy, These Walls, Illumination Theory, easily.

BlobVanDam

Fatal Tragedy, These Walls & Illumination Theory.

TSCO/PA/STR and SDV/8V/TLG were also possibilities for me.

Unlegit

FT, TW, and IT. Definitely the best trio here.

425

Strange Deja-Vu, Octavarium and The Looking Glass. Octavarium on its own is practically strong enough to carry this trio against any of its competition, and the fact that SDV is an incredibly great song and TLG is fantastic as well makes this trio the obvious choice for me.

The Letter M

FT/TW/IT

I love FT and TW is pretty good. And of course, I looooove IT, so it was nearly a no-brainer.

-Marc.

Shadow Ninja 2.0

Strange Deja Vu, Octavarium, and The Looking Glass, mainly based on the strength of Octavarium, though I like the other songs.

?

Jaffa

Strange Deja Vu, Octavarium, and The Looking Glass.

Rattlehead

Outcrier

Strange Deja Vu, Octavarium & The Looking Glass.

wolfking

Polarbear

The Spirit Carries On, Panic Attack & Surrender to Reason.
None of these songs are masterpieces or disasters, but its the overall strongest trio.

This exactly.
Quote from: BlobVanDam on December 11, 2014, 08:19:46 PMHef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Evermind

Home, Sacrificed Sons & The Bigger Picture for me.
Quote from: Train of Naught on May 28, 2020, 10:57:25 PMThis first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

This is the toughest choice for me from these new song wars polls. Once again made trickier due to the fact that my favourite track out of all these (Octavarium, my #3 DT track) is with TLG.

The first 4 options are all pretty good, but TW and AFTR drag down the 2nd and 4th a bit. Struggling to decide between the consistency of options 1 and 3 or the pull of IT in 3. I guess I'll go with Home, SS and TBP, though I could vote differently at another time.
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

Ruba

Finally Free, The Root of All Evil and Along for the Ride. The only option with three top 50-material songs.

wasteland

Finally, Root and Ride, but the Illumination Theory boat was about to win this one  :lol

CharlesPL

Fatal Tragedy, These Walls & Illumination Theory

jakepriest

Home (my no. 1 from SFAM), Sacrificed Sons (no. 2 from Octavarium) and Bigger Picture

GasparXR

Option 4, but I could have picked Option 1.

gmillerdrake

Grizz

Definitely 1, but 3 came the closest by far.

Daso

Went with SDV/8VM/TLG. SDV is one of the songs that I'm not fatigued off from SFaM, 8VM is Top 5 DT for me and TLG is Top 3 DT12. Could've voted for FT/TW/IT since both FT and IT hold similar places to the ones from their respective albums, but I couldn't stand listening to TW until the LaLP version, which has helped the song to grow on me (but I still don't like the 8VM version).
