What is the asking price for DVD + CD? I would like to get that if affordable.

Rhayader

I will first watch it and if I like it, then I will buy. I don't like the setlist though.

JiM-Xtreme

Pre-ordered the deluxe. Can't flippin' wait!  ;D

The Letter M

Shelled out for the biggest and best option available! Pre-ordered last week to get my name on the poster! can't wait to get it in the mail!

Probably DVD + CDs. My family has a Blu-Ray player but I watch a lot of concert DVDs in my room or on my computer which can't play Blu-Ray, so I stick to the DVD version. But really, what I'm most interested in is the CDs, because I'll listen to live albums or live versions of songs WAY more often than I'll watch a concert DVD.

philmcson

DVD standalone version, pre-ordered.....

Setlist Scotty

Most likely the Blu-ray + CDs. I'm not big on watching concert videos - I'd rather just listen to the show, hence why I'm getting a package that includes the CDs. As for the deluxe option, a part of me wouldn't mind picking it up, but I don't really think I can justify the extra $60 for a book (yes I do realize it comes with the BR, DVDs and CDs). And I'll pass on the poster, keychains and pint glass - couldn't care less about those items.

I'll grab the CD/DVD if it's available and at a decent price.  If not, only the DVD.

fllnsprrw

bluray only.

bluray is $14, bluray+CDs=$43??. isn't that a little odd?
I don't listen to live CDs that much anyway. I watch concert videos, listen to albums.

BlobVanDam

Just the DVDs, unless availability and price makes the DVD+CD a possibility. But I'm never going to listen to the CDs, I only care about live releases if I can watch them.

TL

Unless I spot a really good price on the Deluxe somewhere, just the BluRay.

ytserush

Either DVD/CD or Deluxe.   I'll be securing my copy late afternoon on Halloween.

BelichickFan

As of now I'm getting the Blu Ray/3 CD.

However it looks like the 2 DVD has more.

BLU-RAY
1) Bridges In The Sky 2) 6:00 3) The Dark Eternal Night 4) This Is The Life 5) The Root Of All Evil 6) Lost Not Forgotten 7) Drum Solo 8) A Fortune In Lies 9) The Silent Man 10) Beneath The Surface 11) Outcry 12) Piano Solo 13) Surrounded 14) On The Backs Of Angels 15) War Inside My Head 16) The Test That Stumped Them All 17) Guitar Solo 18) The Spirit Carries On 19) Breaking All Illusions 20) Metropolis Pt. 1

DVD DISC ONE

DVD DISC TWO Bonus Tracks
1) These Walls 2) Build Me Up, Break Me Down 3) Caught In A Web 4) Wait For Sleep 5) Far From Heaven 6) Pull Me Under

I may have to get the DVD instead; this was from Amazon is it correct that the Blu Ray doesn't have the extras ?

wolfking

One of my main reasons for getting this is the extras.  Specifically These Walls and Web.

Kotowboy

Whichever version has the best extras for the money.

Simple as.

The Curious Orange

I'd want the DVD and CD, but the DVD+CD set isn't being released in Europe, and the import price makes it prohibitively expensive. So I've just ordered the DVD, and I'll try to find the DVD+CD set on EBay for a knock-down price at some stage in the future.

WWRD? I'll tell you WRWD - they'd release the CD separately...

dream416

Ordered the deluxe version from the DT Store. With the pint glass, keychain & poster.   :metal

Zydar

I ordered the Blu-Ray edition just after I posted in this thread yesterday.

adastra

I just pre-ordered the DVD  (+ couple of Sonata Arctica albums) !

This. Don't listen to new live albums these days, just the classics.

BlobVanDam

Looks like my local store will only have either the basic DVD or BD versions available, so I guess it's the DVD version by default for me. Nice price too.

Yep JB. Where else in this country? :lol
Their site only lists the basic versions. Usually they're good with getting in all of the DT stuff, so maybe they'll add it later, but luckily I only wanted the DVD version anyway. But it would be odd to not have the CD version available!

Usually just independant record stores. (the few that are left anyway)

I don't think we have anything like that left around here, it's basically just JB, and whatever other major general stores stock CDs. JB is the only place I ever notice with DT stuff though, and usually they get everything. Maybe it makes a difference that it's not RR for this one.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly the reason.  I've noticed releases get in store largely at times depending on record labels.  RR is probably by far the most reliable, but others like Nuclear Blast and Century Media are hit or miss.  Where I am I find Insideout products pretty okay to. (except Fates Warning, still waiting for that one.  :\)

Dream Team

The ONLY reason I would be interested in the CDs would be for more dynamic versions of the ADTOE songs since the studio release is pretty flat. But I can definitely live with just the DVDs.
