It's at around 37 seconds in to the track just after the whole band enters with the big E chord.

When I say scratch I mean it sounds like something you might hear when listening to vinyl. I don't what to make of it and I don't know how it ended up on the final release.

Not as such. I know what sort of clipping noise you're meaning and I don't hear that. It's one, very audible "scratch". To me that's exactly what it sounds like. A scratch on vinyl.

-Chirping guitar noises in IT. Worst part is, someone mentioned it in a comment on the stream of the album when I was listening to it first, so I'll never get to hear IT without hearing the godawful chirps 

-All the misheard lyrics in Voices.  Doesn't help my that my girlfriend laughs at them every time I listen to the song.

-God I'm high, I'm a steak.

Nice find! From the sound and timing of it, I'd say it's wasn't intentional. Then again, knowing how perfectionist MP is (he wanted to re-record his first fills in the Budokan version of As I Am because he messed up their order), there's no way he'd leave a mistake in.

I can't be the only one hearing this, in "About to Crash" there is a faint digital "beep-beep" noise right after James sings "this she knows is true" at around 1:10. I noticed it ages ago and it's bugged me ever since.
