SFAM has the best melodies

I actually think that in terms of melody, from start to finish, DT12 is superior to Scenes. Most people will probably look at that and go "you're crazy" and in general comparing one of DT's classics to a record that's been out for two weeks is going to raise eyebrows. But it's the first thing about the album that grabbed me.

To original poster: It's obviously subjective, and I personally think that when dealing with these things, the phrase "my favorite" should be used instead of the phrase "the best". However, I will agree that saying SFaM has "the best" melodies certainly does create a more interesting debate. 

That said, I do agree that SFaM has my favorite melodies of any DT album. To me, SFaM probably has the my favorite "everything" of any DT album, including every other album by any other band. It simply has its own category at the very top of the top in my rankings.

It does such a great job of having its own sound and separating itself from any other album.

My one wish is for DT to have a SFaM reunion tour, and release a DVD for it that is of the same quality as Luna Park will be. I would want James to be just as good as he supposedly is on Luna Park, and I would want it to utilize the same video quality, etc.

Live: Scenes From NY was good, but something on the level of Score or Luna Park but with SFaM in its entirety would make my life.
