I´ve seen threads for almost all concerts on this tour, but not this one. Anybody going? I am - bought tickets to all DT shows in Spain next January. This is promising to be a great show - small city, small venue, and a chance at seeing them VERY close. Whilst poor attendance may be a downer, I prefer shows like that, where I don´t need to fight for a decent spot.

cyberdrummer

Surprised nobody else is planning to go to this one, seems a pretty intimate venue by DT's standards.

RodrigoAltaf

Yep...that´s the whole reason I chose to go, and to book the Meet & Greet for this exact venue as opposed to Madrid or Barcelona, which I expect to be packed.

RodrigoAltaf

So, who else is going for this show? 12 days to go!

RodrigoAltaf

Fukkin hell, I ran into Jordan in Pamplona! I was asking a policeman for directions and as soon as he started talkung I completely ignored him and screamed "Jordan!". He stopped by and we had a little chat. I asked him.about the issues last night and ge said "It should all be fixed for tonight". I mentioned I came all the way from Rio to see these 3 shows and he said "so you'll get to see a different thing tinight". But I'm not sure if he meant a different setlist or different because the issues are noe fixed...

We'll find out soon enough, right?

Prog Snob

I hope for everyone's sake the kinks will be worked out.

aprilethereal

Exited to see how/if they'll change the setlist for tonight.

I like this setlist but I'd like to see some changes.

I'd rather have them not change it at all, because I don't want some of the unexpected awesomeness of the current setlist to be changed for some stuff I'm not a big fan of :D

So, you want to play it safe, right? Probably a wise approach...

Jinx

As I said before, its only a few hours from last nights show, maybe the SFAM/Awake anniversary setlist is the main set with sub-sets for shows that are near to one another. Maybe they assume that some people might attend both and change it up a bit?

tuto

According to twitter they are in the 15 minute intermission now

Probably the show has started at the scheduled time, which didn't happen yesterday.

cyberdrummer

I think it started at 2000 hrs approx local time.

What sucks is that if they keep The Shattered Fortress in the setlist, pretty much a guarantee they won't play Tuscany  :(

It's already a guarantee they won't play it.

Think so?  Because they already have an epic in the set with IT?

bosk1

No, because it has already been confirmed that there will be no song rotation in the set list.

Ah...didn't know that.  I wasn't sure if they were doing the Awake/SFAM anniversary thing in Europe only, like they did a few years back with I&W.  Once they hit the states, the setlist changed.

Yeah at this point I'm mostly curious to see if the set order changes, like it did in Madrid last night. That could have simply been because of the technical difficulties, though.

Yes, that was the only reason why.

No, it should be the same over here, too.  At least, that is the plan at present.

:lol This set should make for an interesting concert in Boston. I'm very curious to see where the choir is used.

I'm not sure this will be the setlist in Boston. I kind of expect the general setlist to be tweaked anyway between the Euro an US dates, no?
Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.

Weymolith (who got it directly from the band).

Boston may end up being an exception to the rule.  I don't know that for a fact, but since they are doing something out of the ordinary for that show as it is, it would not surprise me if they modified the set list somewhat.
