This is the standard version of the new album:
https://store.roadrunnerrecords.com/music-1/dream-theater-dream-theater-cd.html

It says:
"Standard CD with 28-Page booklet with artwork by Hugh Syme.".

And this is the deluxe:
https://store.roadrunnerrecords.com/music-1/dream-theater-dream-theater-deluxe-edition-cd-dvd.html

The booklet isn't mentioned.

Please tell me that I'm being an idiot thinking there is no booklet in the deluxe version :(

wolven74

It says it has "expanded packaging with artwork by Hugh Syme".... I imagine (hope) the expanded packaging includes the 28 page booklet. Lyrics have to be printed somewhere.

I noticed the expanded packaging too. I hope that I'm being foolish thinking there'll be no booklet.

I'm just hoping the booklet isn't glued on like the ADTOE special edition. That's a right pain.

BlackInk

I can't remember there being a booklet in the ADToE beluxe box. I mean there were lyrics printed on the vinyl-cases or something but no little book.

That's correct and it was very annoying.

On standard edition it has been mentioned cos there really isn't anything other useful to mention.
They don't need to mention it cos it is deluxe edition and it has other cool stuff to mention.

you catch my drift, bro?

Another reason that it wouldn't be there is what was stated a few posts up: There was no booklet in the ADToE deluxe edition, so it's perfectly possible that there is no in this one either. Though I hope it is.

I was talking about the CD+DVD too...

And yeah, there will be a booklet, probably, but I just want to make sure.
Anyway, I tweeted RR. Waiting for an answer.

ADTOE cd+dvd had the booklet so I'm 100% sure that DT12 will have it too.!

Amen  :tup

A 28 page book in the standard edition confirms again that the standard is the way to go for me.  The glued book in the ADTOE special edtion was absolute bullshit.

Is this thread really happening right now?

Oy vey...

At this point, I'd be happy with a freakin' copied cassette tape of the album. :metal
