Ya know, I tend to overlook this song sometimes, but every time I listen to it, I think, "How is this not one of the band's best songs?"  It's that good.

I love Peruvian Skies. I normally don't like when DT does some excerpts from covers in their own songs, but the 2005 version of Peruvian Skies is killer.

The section with JP's solo followed by that heavy section after it is just incredible.

It was my favorite song on FII when it first came out, because I wasn't crazy about "Burning My Soul" when I heard it on the radio.  Over the years, my opinions on many of the songs on that album have changed dramatically, although I still like "Peruvian Skies" and still hate "Anna Lee."  "Trial of Tears" is probably my favorite now.
