Publication will be in September but pre-ordered books will ship as soon as they are available.
This paperback edition is fully updated by Rich Wilson featuring new interviews with the band & others. It covers the departure of Mike Portnoy, the search for his successor and the band's spirited return.

That was always my plan - to keep the price as low as we could without compromising on the quality. This hopefully gives everyone the chance to read it who wanted to, but who might have been priced out by the higher prices of earlier editions.

If people could spread the word on Facebook or on any other prog sites, that would be hugely helpful too!!

Same thing that happened to me with 2nd Edition - preorder unavailable. What do they do, print 12 each time? I've been dying to read this for years, can't afford the used copies floating around. Is there any chance there will be more available at some point? FFS.

First edition was a 2 book set (Images & Words)

Second edition was a single book, as is third edition.
