Every single time I hear the "Callow and vain" part of Innocence Faded, it sends chills down my spine. It's been like that for years and never fails, even when I listen to it in the car with other people present. The "One Last Time" section of Finally Free can even make me teary-eyed sometimes, therefore it was a delight when I found this picture on Meme Theater:

Do you have any sections that do that for you?

SomeoneLikeHim

The last half of One Last Time. From "Here I am inside his home..." and onwards.
Razor's edge
"It can only take place when the struggle between our children has ended..."
"The journey to find the answers inside our illusive mind"
Hell's Kitchen ending
"Once lost but I was found, when I heard the stained glass shatter all around me..."

To name a few.

wasteland

Uhm. In no particular order:

1. What happens after "a familiar voice comes shining through" and the guitar solo in the OLT section.
2. "Sssafe in the light that surrounds mee" after the solo
3. LTL outro, above everything else
4. The way the beginning of the Another World guitar solo overlaps with the the last word of the verse, especially live
5. The whole intro of Metropolis
5b. "As a child" verse (especially in the ATCO demo version)
6. "Once lost but I was found, when I heard the stained glass shatter all around me... I sent the spirits tumbling down the hill... But I will HOOLD this one on high above me still. She whispers words to clear my mind, I once could see but now at least I'm blind"
7. The sliding guitar solo in SDV and what comes afterwards
8. The sustained "signaaaaal" on some live performances of BAI (the note finishes fractions of seconds before the outro riff)
9. "Accepting the end"
10. Eve

JoeG

#3
The first time the main full band riff of Outcry comes in.
Same with the Metropolis intro
Post-solo Spirit Carries On
Learning to Live Outro
"Find all you need in your mind"
The Best of Times, both the outro solo and the huge guitar bit that fades in at 2:45 after the acoustic intro.
Everything including and after the final vocal section of TCOT

wolfking

1. TRAPPED INSIDE THIS OCTAVARIUM (then especially Jordan's keys faintly in the one speaker)

2. The 'still life pushes on' section in Blind Faith

3. Middle sample section in Honor Thy Father

4. The first short solo during the first verses from the Score version of Afterlife

5. "Of course you're free to go, go and tell the world my story Tell about my brother, tell them about me, the Count of Tuscany"

6. "I'll never hurt you again" in the Mirror

PwnsomeWin

The end of The Count Of Tuscany.
Disappear, starting from "So I'm moving on," to the end.
Space Dye Vest, from "There's no one to take my blame," to the end.
Octavarium, at the last "TRAPPED INSIDE THIS OCTAVARIUM!!!"

That's all I can think of now, but there's definitely more.

Pepe108

The orchestral thing after Petrucci's solo on Sacrificed Sons.

Meatrose

My top 3 goosebump-inducing sections:

1. The finale of Octavarium ("Razor's Edge" ~19:50)

2. The finale of The Count of Tuscany (~14:20)

3. The instrumental section of Blind Faith (especially the part that starts at 7:57)

Polis

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS! FANATIC OBSESSIONS! DOES FOLLOWING FAITH LEAD US TO VIOLENCE?? UNYIELDING CRUSADES! DIVINE REVELATION! DOES FOLLOWING FAITH LEAD US TO VIOLENCE? WOOOOOAAAAAHHHHhh.. WOOAAAAAHhhhh.... WOOOOAAAAHhhhhwoooooooowoooooahh.... WOOAHHHWOAHWOAH... WOAHHWOAHWAOH... WOOOAHHHWOAHWOAHWOOOOAAAAAAHHHH... glory, glory hallelujah etc., then fantastic piano ending.

serrano

In no particular order:

Razor's Edge (score)
BAI Solo / end of the instrumental section
MOLS outro
LTL outro
Metropolis "There must be the third and last dance..."
ItPoE Salvation
OLT "Coincidence I can't believe..."
Eve JP lead sound
Finally Free Last "This feeling" section
SDOIT Goodnight Kiss solo (score)
Misunderstood Long "Playing a lion being led to a cage..." section
Lie "The Mirror" outro

fadetoblackdude7

Beautiful Agony section of ANTR

JLB's F# followed by JP's solo in LTL

Implode

The only part in DT's discography that still does this for me consistently is the climax to Octavarium.

The last half of One Last Time. From "Here I am inside his home..." and onwards.

That's the only one I can think of that ALWAYS gives me goosebumps.  Lots of other sections have given me goosebumps, but with One Last Time, I could listen to it twice in a row and get goosebumps both times.  I can't say that for any other song.

Jinova

Beautiful agony section of ANTR

All of Sacrificed Sons.

JPX

There are a bunch that I could find but the first one that comes to mind is the breakdown at 4:00 in Finally Free.

Yep, that does it for me too and it hits the peak with "one last time", resolving with the guitar solo. Stuff worth living for!

Oh definitely. I start getting the goosebumps right when James sing's his "shot out of the night" line and and it peaks again with JP's beautiful lead.

Another huge one is at 5:15 in the Mirror - the "I'll never hurt you again" line.

I guess I really like the epic breakdowns they do after a vocal passage lol.

Quote
Preparing for her flight
I held with all my might
Fearing my deepest fright
She walked into the night
She turned for one last look
She looked me in the eye
I said I Love You

Goodbye

When he whispers "Goodbye" it gets me every time. That passage is bone-chilling. I think I prefer the studio version over the live one though.

Lucidity

Beautiful agony, ending of Sacrificed Sons, orchestral drop on Octavarium, the main evil riff of Finally Free, the synth reprise of the main theme in ITPoE Pt. 2, the guitar solo/soundscape section of Count of Tuscany, "I can never be open again" from Space-Dye Vest... A lot more that I'm missing.

Lucien

Let's see...

That one instrumental section in Metropolis from 7:02 on. Always.

Breaking All Illusions, when the first instrumental section fades into section where Paul Northfield goes all philosophical.

Space Dye Vest. 1:04.

The Best of Times, after the guitar comes in really fast.

The Count of Tuscany, when the song transitions from the smooth 4/4 to the heavy and amazing 9/8, especially right before the first lyrics. Also the ambient near the end.

These Walls, final guitar solo, and right after the introduction with John tuning.

The Root of All Evil, "take all of me... the desires... that keep burning deep inside..."

Octavarium. Introduction especially during transition between lapsteel and acoustic guitar, and Intervals. Also the highest note during the final guitar solo in Razor's Edge.

Disappear's beginning.

Under a Glass Moon. Beginning and guitar solo.

Bridges in the Sky's chorus.

Probably quite a few others.

adastra

In the Presence of Enemies Pt. 2 , Just after the solos when Rudess plays the main theme with that cool synth sound O_O

DebraKadabra

At the very least, Razor's Edge - brings a weep to my eyes as well.
Look at all us freaks cluttering your city streets
Still scalping their ticket-less applause
Spun monkeys on the railroad track, take me to the caine field; I walk along pick my spiderbite
Basically Kyoko Kirigiri

Recent goosebump moments for me:

- The first "shaman take my hand" leading into the instrumental section.
- The end of the instrumental in Breaking All Illusions, leading into the final chorus.

Both absolutely wonderful moments.

The Stray Seed

You've already listed many. I will just speak of those that were not yet mentioned:

- The intro to Another Hand the Killing Hand from Live at the Marquee, and pretty much the whole song thanks to James' astounding performance.

- "Cos I know what I want,
know what I feel,
I know what I need.
Daddy took a raincheck."

As well as JP solo from Mother and pretty much the whole Surrounded 2007, which is pure emotion to me. I especially love the performance from I&W 15th Anniversary CD.

- Afterlife and Another Won, Score version

- To Live Forever: "Why was I  born in an age of distrust"?

- Hollow Years from Live at Budokan, intro, guitar solo and last bridge

- Take Away My Pain studio version, "I was standing by the edge of the water, noticed my reflection in the waves" section (verse after the solo).

- "Cherish your life while you're still around" from ACOS, Live Scenes From New York

- "Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're thinking
Tell me what you're feeling inside
"
From Speak To Me

- Wait for sleep, the whole song

- The "ora che ho perso la vista ci vedo di più" sample in Take The Time.

- Goodnight kiss - JP solo

- "I look for a way back home" at the end of The Wasteland stanza, from Trial of Tears

And many other moments.

JRuivo

- Jordan's little Moog solo on About to Crash (reprise) - he should definitely have more solo spots like this one, so proggy

- The "Try to push me 'round/the world some more/And make me live in fear..." part on Caught in a Web

- "I'm lying on the floor, staring at the wall..." on Voices

- The ending of the Razor's Edge solo, with the orchestra reprising the Octavarium theme. Always brings me to tears that one :blush

- The Trial of Tears solo and the ending section

- The "So I'll move along, I'll never forget..." part on Disappear. So emotional. So energy, power.

DeanTheater

The opening riff to ACOS

JP's solo and JLBs last few notes in LAB Hollow Years

Voices chorus (studio)

First heavy note and next 10-15 seconds of TGP.

The last few minutes of TCOT (probably my favorite)

The ending to BAL (Manginis fills at the end....amazing).

The .."and at last the time has come to unite again as one....." part of BITS

lastly, the entire Solo for Iron Maidens Gangland (done jazzy)  from Number of the Beast live.  amazing!
