I was totally disapointed by this live show.
The crowd is inexistant, Mangini's lack of punch is just DRAMATIC...Technically he's awesome, but he's definitely NOT the showman that Portnoy was on stage!!

Compare the 2 live versions of "The root of all evil" :  the "Score" dvd version and the "Luna Park" one.
The difference, in terms of "punch" and power, is SO HUGE!!
And it's the same for almost every songs of the Luna Park set!!

"Live Scenes...", "Score" and mostly "Live at Budokan" are BY FAR SO MUCH BETTER than "Luna Park"!!

Notice that the French fans are,as I am, really dispaointed by this release...
And I even mention of the "bonus section", what a joke!!

Well, since you speak for the French fans, I can without hesitation or doubt whatsoever say on behalf of the Italian Dream Theater fandom that this DVD is the best the band has ever put out

About as I expected, so not bad, not great. I didn't get overly nervous, but my argument went off the rails a bit when the Chief Justice asked me a text question (a 'may/shall' distinction; Bosk will know what I'm talking about).

Must say I´m very glad I eventually went and got the Deluxe version. Time to eat some crow again. Great performance alround.

Tell me about it... I have an exam on Tuesday and I need to work on a couple of papers, but I have a cold. I'm also 100% sure I'll have to take the test I had on Monday again, and there's a load of exams coming up in early December.
