I was disappointed, then went on with my work.  It's not the end of the world people.  We'll look back on this in October and realize how stupid it was. 

Then in October we'll get upset about the Luna Park announcements.

While I don't disagree, I think Lucien meant his comment in a slightly humorous way that simply came off as rude. I definitely am not trying to influence you or any other moderator/administrator, but that is simply my opinion.

Bosk1 is right in this situation. It can create a very negative opinion of our forum, which, while not the official one, is definitely viewed as very important in DT land.

Therefore, if people see that comment, it may entice people who would have signed up here to go elsewhere, as well as damaging the site's reputation with the actual members of Dream Theater.

To sum up, it's simply bad for business and it is never good to spread sweeping generalizations ("I'm mad, so everyone I know is mad too!") that can damage the reputation of this forum which we all hold in such high regards. It makes us look childish and immature as a whole, when in reality, while we all joke around once in a while, we can mostly have serious and interesting discussions without animosity.

Because its hard to distinguish between sarcasm and serious online, hence the need for smilies. Plus, he spoke of us all by using DTF, and its not true and does not represent us all. If he wouldve put, I don't represent the entirety of the community of DTF, it'd be a bit cooler. But now people think we're all like that based off that comment....anyway I digress...

I'm ready for more episodes of DT in the studio vol. 12
