Could be the ink wasn't dry on the contract. One of the members was holding out for some reason. RR hadn't given Randy the ok to go public yet. RR could like to announce things in the morning instead of late in the day... Many things could have postponed it. Though you're right, in retrospect, it wasn't exactly a momentous announcement.

So, I'm gone for a week, and I'm getting ready for my 21st birthday (which is today, btw  :angel:). I decide to go on DTF to check up on the responses to the MIDI I transcribed, and then I read the following from one of the RoadRunner crew...

The missing part of the cake roughly amounts to 1/8 of the full cake. The angle is therefore π/8. The remaining angle is 15/8 π, 5*1=5 so it's 5/8 OMG NUGGETZ.!!!5!8!1!1  :omg:

That's actually possible. I guess this time more than half of the album will be played on a 7-string.
