They also changed OTBOA so it segues into War Inside My Head, if I remember correctly. I'd post a YouTube link but I can't listen to any to find a decent one at the minute, but I'm sure you'll find one.

Just so you folks know - the studio version ending was done on the ADToE tour, the "alternate" ending has been done on other tours.
Look at all us freaks cluttering your city streets
Still scalping their ticket-less applause
Spun monkeys on the railroad track, take me to the caine field; I walk along pick my spiderbite
Basically Kyoko Kirigiri

Not true, the ourto was longer on the ADTOE tour. Just listen to any footage from, for example European tour.

Or then you have a different studio version...  :o

DebraKadabra

YES true - the studio ending morphed into the beginning of LNF is all.

Correct.  In fact I mentioned it to JP after they had kept TROAE in the sets and switched back to the studio ending.  I practically begged him to switch back again, but he said they decided to go back because they had just put LNF in the set for the second U.S. leg, and they felt that the original ending segued into LNF better.

Well, they switched back in the SA leg, so that we could have the best ending in the DVD  :tup

Another classic BlobVanDam heretical moment.

BlobVanDam

The alternate ending is nowhere near deserving heretic status.

The Presence of Frenemies

Both endings are strong. The alternate one is a cool twist, and if it's on the new DVD, that'll be a nice way of distinguishing it from the Score version.
