JP should have a second guitarist or a keyboard player during G3, it sounds very empty just with his guitar and Dave's bass...

This!

Just came back from this, South American Tour. I have to say I had an amazing night, it was a great show. Setlist seems to be the same as described. I kind of agree that satch should "lend" JP his keyboard player though. MM is a great fit however, he fits the bill, rocks it out and does some crazy shit without ever taking the spotlight.

Lucky enough, we went to their hotel afterwards, and got to meet them all. Having met JP and the gang just out of the airplane on another DT tour, I have to say the difference is astounding! JP is an amazingly friendly guy after a show. He even told us a story about how the title for "This is the life" happened when he was in the car playing the demo while driving his mom to the hospital to see his sister, who had just gave birth, and a truck in front of him had a sticker that said "esta es la vida" (this is the life, spanish).
And MM? Pff. The guy has a cut on his right hand, and so please asks us not to shake hands and still proceeds to sign whatever we put in front of him (slowly) and takes pictures and even asks at the end if everyone is good.
Satch and Steve? Great guys! Did the pictures, the signings, everything. Dave LaRue even came down twice to talk a bit more.
Overall, amazing experience. The concert was amazing, and the meet after probably was better than any M&G package out there.
Also, the title for the other new JP son is Cyanotic Zombies or something like that. He told us the story about the title, but it slips my mind atm. Too much going on.
Maybe some pictures or videos later if, when I check tomorrow, everything checks out.

Great quality both video and sound! Incredible playing by JP as always! Love the tone! He has been so good for so long now that it is easy to take his playing for grantet.

Wow, thank you so much for posting these awesome videos, really! I've been waiting for some quality footage to show up of the new songs as well as the old ones. It's always a pleasure to listen and watch to JP and Satch play :D

Just for curiosity, is there going to be any official live release for this leg of the tour?

Well, if no plan arises in the future we'll just cheerish the amateur footage we have. :)

It was incredible. John Petrucci's new tunes are absolutely amazing, Mangini did an incredibly fine job as his drummer and Dave LaRue is just great. Lukather and Satriani were amazing as well, but for some reason I got far more pumped with Petrucci than with the others. The jam was godly, I had never seen 4000 people being so excited for live instrumental music before. I even overheard some conversations of guys telling "Oh my God, how in earth I didn't know these guys before?".

The Meet & Greet was brief, but great. The 3 guys are incredibly nice and respectful, my friend brought a guitar to be signed by the guys and they even took the time to say that was a great sounding guitar/cool finish/ etc. Here's my pic with them
