Why do james and mike always say this?

Now that I think about it, I don't believe I've ever heard JLB say this at all. I've heard it a number of times from MP, but I don't recall JLB saying this in any behind the scenes or even on stage. I mean, maybe there are some bootlegs that I haven't heard of, but the point is, I can't even imagine JLB saying it.

I has multiple times, for example Fatal Tragedy. I wish I remembered the youtube video he does in the chorus and then John and Mike do the second part.
