Another World.

I know, I'm safe and boring. :'(

Indeed. Innocence or The Darkest Of Winters is the correct answer. Too bad Jordan ruined the latter with the honky-tonk.

The ragtime is a lot better than the unmemorable original part.

This was Hard

I chose Carpe Diem, but Another World and Innocence were really close as well.

Destiny Of Chaos

Carpe Diem by far for me, but I appreciate the love for Another World.

I can get not liking the silly bits, and I can get loving them... but I don't at all get what could make the ragtime so much worse than the Simpsons and the baseball thingy.

Now where'd you get that idea? My problem was that Jordan decided to stick with the joke after everyone else had moved on. He played it like that on every live version of ACOS I ever saw/heard, while Petrucci sometimes tried new(but not goofy) stuff.

It was fine when they were all goofing around with the Simpsons theme and such on Live Scenes, but that should have been the end of it; instead, Jordan got stuck on that level.
Ah! I see. Yes, I read that completely inaccurately - sorry! Wrong end of the stick. You didn't mention subsequent performances, I thought you were still talking about Live Scenes when you said "Jordan got stuck on that level." My bad entirely, extrapolated when I shouldn't have!

rob, stop being so damn agreeable, and be polarized for once.
For what it's worth, I just did exactly this on another message board. I just told someone to get real, and that their passive aggressive nonsense doesn't make them look clever. Not going back there for a week.

I owe my pleasant manner to a pleasant message board. Some places... fucking infuriating!

I voted for IV.  The Inevitable Summer just for the part at 18:35.  Man I love that sound everytime I hear it!  Is there a way that people refer to it here?  Like the way the begining of Home - whomp whomp or in LNF the tickle section.

I love that part too. I just associate it as the "train part" unless it actually does have an official name lol.

Another World. My sister knows the entire "I'm sick of all you hypocrites" part and sings it occasionally  :lol

Polis

wtf... how is crimson sunset not 50 votes? This section is just so orgasmic in so many ways..

Gotta be The Inevitable Summer. How so many fail to realize how amazing it is is beyond me.

Dat guitar solo
Dat train noise
Dat riff
Day synth solo

If you look at the Poll results, Another World looks like it's giving the finger to everyone who didn't vote for it.
