ACOS would be out of place, as it was originally planned to be on Images & Words.

But kudos for including Anna Lee, one of the most beautiful DT songs ever written. Doesn't get anywhere near enough appreciation round here.

Agreed 100%.

Yeah, I'm not sure where all the stuff about ACOS is coming from.  AFAIK, it was never on the table for it to be released on FII.

Same with Eve and The Way It Used To Be.

No. I hate A Change Of Seasons. I listened to it again a  few days ago and it just sounds like rejected sections from older songs that all got a home in

this one B-side.  It doesn't flow very well and just seems thrown together to make a long song. Derek's solo is good but that's about it.

I couldn't disagree with you more. A very interesting opinion though, because I don't know anyone else who 'hates' ACOS. Plenty are ambivalent, but I've never known someone actively dislike it. I actually think it flows the best of any of DT's 'epics', and Another World is quite possibly my favourite few minutes of music by the band.

Back on topic, the only tracks from COtC I'd include on FII are Raise the Knife and The Way It Used To Be. I would, however, have used the demo version of LitS, but not of Hollow Years - I'm a fan of the more concise album version.
