72:29 of pure awesomeness.

I'll have to try this next time I ask my GF if I can play 6 songs and just play the entire Transatlantic, Whirld Tour 2010: Live In London album (sure it's only 6 songs, but it's over 3 hours long :rollin )

I've done the same thing with my wife on road trips, and I ask her if I can choose a song.  Just one.  By now, she knows what that means, but she also knows how much it kills me to have to listen to pop dreck, and I do try to find somewhat more accessbile songs.

Like "The Whirlwind"  :lol

yorost

I'd like to see the conversation you have convincing him Six Degrees is one song.

Sketchy

 :lol

Those songs go by so quickly for me, it'd feel like 3 songs.

Dude, car? You can do this in a bar! All those internet juke boxes in bars go by song, not by time. So, you pop in $3, select ACOS, 2112 and some PT epic, and then enjoy the next hour :lol

I may have to do that with King Crimson's Lizard... and get myself banned pretty damn fast.

The Score version is one big 42 minute track, so just play that one.

Look at all us freaks cluttering your city streets
Still scalping their ticket-less applause
Spun monkeys on the railroad track, take me to the caine field; I walk along pick my spiderbite
Basically Kyoko Kirigiri

I do this all the time. At a dollar a song, I can't stomach playing something any shorter than 7 minutes. On Christmas I played ACOS twice in a row  :lol

I remember ruining many folks' nights at bars with the "take the jukebox hostage for the low, low price of $5" approach.

The best part of it all is that at least half the time I'll have some dude who's as nerdy as I am come strolling over to me and strike up a DT or Opeth conversation. I think one of 'em even bought me a beer just for making his evening with unexpectedly awesome bar music.

Nah, I don't like rage comics, but this was pretty cool.

This is great... I've done this to my girlfriend before, I remember putting on Live at Budokan after we agreed on the "just one song deal"and I chose Beyond This Life (the extended live version)  :hat

GasparXR

I haven't done anything to that level, but I did play 3 songs for someone who was a fan of Metallica and Iron Maiden (so slightly longer than normal songs aren't unheard of for him), so I played In the Name of God, Pull Me Under and A Change of Seasons. 45 minutes of awesome X
