Actually, I think they repeat the chorus too much. Otherwise a great song, but last time I listened to it and the third chorus kicked in, I was like "Oh great, this again  ".

Lyrically ITNOG is one of the best DT songs.

This. ITNOG and BMUBMD are two DT songs that suffer from too much average chorus repetition, as far as I remember the chorus in ITNOG is repeated something like four times? And with no variety at all??? However ITNOG is still the best song on TOT and it's amazing song overall, the chorus is really the only weaker point of the song for me.

Yeah, I never was a huge fan of the live outro, the studio finishes the song perfectly and in the most epic way.

Agreed.  I think my lack of love for that live rendition of In the Name of God was a big reason why I wasn't overly fond of the Budokan DVD (aside from other reasons that I have mentioned before).  That awesome ending isn't there, and JLB struggles a bit with the vocals, which takes away some of the power of the song.
