Apologies if this has surfaced before.

I was watching the In the Studio episodes on youtube and did a little investigating.

I took this photo:

Zoomed in on the paper and flipped it horizontally:

Then did some CSI style enhancing:

It reads something like:

Still standing on the sidelines
Watching through the looking glass
You are caught up in your gravity
Glorifying master
Singing your own praise

I can't quite make out the rest, but there's something about a gold mine, more sidelines, and more glass.

I think it would have been hysterical if the paper said something like "Hey John. How much do you want to bet someone zooms in on this and flips it"

Lucien

Glorifying master
Singing your own praise

....this has my interest

"(They/Them) saved ??? without ???,
You're digging up a gold mine,
still standing on the sidelines,
watching through the looking glass."

Also, It's "Glorifying Madness" Not "Glorifying Master"

Destiny Of Chaos

And this is why we can't have nice things.

Nice one Chino!

Still standing on the sidelines
Watching through the looking glass
You are caught up in your gravity
Glorifying madness
Singing your own praise

You are without shame (???)
You're digging up a gold mine
Still standing on the sidelines
Watching through the looking glass

You are without shame (???)
You're digging up a gold mine
Still standing on the sidelines
Watching through the looking glass

Also, it looks like there are two pages, and the back of the page JP is reading off of can also be faintly seen behind the page that is facing us.

The song titles and durations are so friggin' awesome that I honestly wouldn't even care if the lyrics were The Count of Tuscany Parts I-XXVIII.

  Song titles and durations matter so much less than lyrical and musical quality.

Well, I guess this means I'll be able to sing along to part of The Looking Glass the first time I hear it. :lol

Well, I'm pretty confident those are the lyrics. We should have a contest for DTFers on Vocaroo. See who can get the closest to how the song actually goes. It's clearly a chorus so it shouldn't be too tricky to think of a catchy melody. You have JP on the acoustic, so it might be the slower chorus of a ballad or something.

Easy now...of course song lyrics matter much more than durations and the title. What I mwant was that basrd on the durations and song titles already disclosed - also with some songs having multiple parts - this is shaping up to be such a great release that it wouldn't matter to me if the lyrics sucked.

Oh god I nearly busted up laughing at my desk here at work... :D That is so brilliant, more so because I sorta chuckled to myself at his face when I first saw that pic in the first post. Ohhhhh JP...hahaha.

I love their music but I really don't like their lyrics. Too vague and abstract. They should write about more concrete stuff.
