Isn't this where... we came in?

wait... wrong forum

Implode

No, no. This is where we came in. Turn the key; walk through the gate.

TheGreatPretender

Okay, this is getting way off topic. Focus here, focus there.

Scorpion

EVERYONE SURVIVED ROROROROROROOO!

SomeoneLikeHim

It's just never enough, is it?

DebraKadabra

Well, everything IS never enough... :neverusethis:
Look at all us freaks cluttering your city streets
Still scalping their ticket-less applause
Spun monkeys on the railroad track, take me to the caine field; I walk along pick my spiderbite
Basically Kyoko Kirigiri

jonnybaxy

This has become so off topic, It's a fatal tragedy  :P

Scorpion

The problem is that we are so tightly caught in a web of lyrical references that there is little to no chance of us ever returning onto topic.

jonnybaxy

I think we should take the time to sort it out and we can be back on topic another day...

Adami

Where else can the topic go?

Where will the band be? Over.

Where will the members be? Dead.

Where will the music be? A little less popular (unless something drastically changes in the future) than it is now.

See? No lyrical references.

Long after the others are dead, Myung will be found in a temple on the top of a very very high mountain. One must climb up, arrive nearly dead before being granted a moment of his infinite wisdom.

Can I sig this  :rollin?

But to the topic, they won't be forgotten. Prog fans around the world still like them. I don't believe though, that they are making new music in 2062  :P.

In other words: Their music will not be just lines in the sand, which will be swept away with the tides of time. Or voices, which will fall on deaf ears with failed muted breath. They will continue swimming against the current, until the curtain falls. Though they will be misunderstood by many, their images and words will be cherished by many others, and they'll legacy won't disappear. Those who got to chance to see them live, will remember those best of times for the rest of their lives.

Have at it. The image in my head of what I said was way cooler than how it came out in text.

That was damn cool  :rollin :rollin

I would love to see Dream Theater this popular in 50 years. I think it's up to all of us, at least a bit. I just can't wait to grow my child with Dream Theater classics, hoping he/she will enjoy them and watching Score or LSFNY or LALP together headbanging all around. Obviously, I would do the same thing with a lot of my fav bands. Sorry if I went too emo here ;D

Learning to live in the afterlife beyond this life...
Don't know if that makes any sense, but this the life  :tup

puppyonacid

If I were Kevin Moore, I'd wait till the press release stating that DT are retiring is issued then release one right at the same time saying that I'm willing to get together for a reunion gig.

Dellers

At least I'd remember them, I'll be 75 by then. Well, that is if I live that long, which I can't really see happening. I have a dark and negative mind lol, and that's usually not a good recipe to live long. If I ever get kids and grandkids those will certainly know DT, but I doubt it will get to that.

All these jokes are Bad Larries.
