I do not have your dog. I do not have your chocolate. I do not have your desk.

However, I have this for you. Hope it helps.

I feel like the lyrical content of "Forksaken" would be forty times better than those of the piece of trash that's actually on SC.

Watch your comments, there is no need for bashing of DT here.

Man, LaBrie is really getting into bigger machinery. Do you think he'll look into getting a small backhoe next?

Naw, man, that's a pretty TINY forklift actually. They make forklifts for the construction industry that lift hundreds of pounds with booms that extend a couple of stories in the air. Get James on one of those bad boys, we'll never get him back.

Amazing.  When I saw them on the first leg of the tour, I said to James with a totally straight face after the show, "I almost didn't even make it here tonight, unfortunately."  With a look of genuine concern on his face, he asked me why not, and in complete deadpan, I responded, "I was stuck on the freeway behind some fool driving a forklift in a pirate costume.  Had traffic backed up for miles."

James then did one of these:  :whatthe:  and then turned to Matt Guillory (who was backstage with either his wife or G/F, I think) and said something like, "this is what I love about the Internet."

This tour--first show of the first leg back in September.  Guilllory was hanging out back stage because he is friends with James (and possibly others).

Aww, I thought maybe he played in the show, as like a guest appearance or something.

:hefdaddy Bosk, I salute you for being able to keep a straight face during that. I would have been rolling on the floor before even saying a word.

It was perfect timing because I think the original forklift video was literally only a couple of days old and the S.F. show was the first date on that leg, so I'm not even sure James knew more than a handful of people had seen the video.

I believe H may have witnessed that conversation as well (although he may have been off talking to someone else--can't remember).  He can vouch for whether or not it was actually funny.  In retrospect, I think it was.  But I felt rather self-conscious at the time because I realized shortly after the fact that I had rudely interrupted James and Matt earlier in the conversation, and I think James may have been slightly annoyed.

QuoteQ: Have you ever had a rough time going through customs?

Jordan Rudess: It's always interesting. There is the time the Pirate tried smuggling in some bananas, but I'll let him tell you about that if he likes.
