I can't find the "my life is DT" thread right now so I'll post this here: yesterday my mom was talking about her grandfather who always expected others to be "100% friendly" towards him although he wasn't always that nice of a person himself. My comment on that matter: "Respect is not a one-way street" :D
Last week I saw a headline in a newspaper: "58 additional kilos"

BMS lyrics also helped me in the English exam two weeks ago: in one part of the test you had to pick the right alternative to fill in the blank, and "the size of" was the correct one! :lol
"Headline: Murder, young girl killed"

Reading that made me think of, "Staring at the headlines on the paper"

Seen my diary on the newsstand...

I always have a glass of milk before I go to bed, but I forgot to drink it and fell asleep. I woke up in the morning, saw the glass of milk, and thought "Seen my dairy on the newsstand"

Ah, this thread. I remember when one of my friends ask me "the studio that we had a jam was, Nebula, right ? (the name of studio is Nebula), and the owner was, one of our lecturer, right ?"
One of the sentences that immediately pop out from my head was "watch out people, jet lag".

BTW First post ! Hello everyone. :)

Living such a situation is the ultimate dream of every DT fan. You are a lucky man  :lol

Today I was in a store and I saw a CD of Christian music that was called Awake :D

Right there on the crucifix?

?

No, it was there among other CDs ::) I also saw a CD with a cover that gave me a not-so-strange deja vu:

Christian bands must love Awake (well, who wouldn't?)! :lol

Hey there!

Phew... Well, I just spent $100 on a Karaoke making software, and then spent the entire night making Karaoke tracks out of DT instrumentals that I have. But hey, next time I go to Karaoke with my friends, I'll finally get to rock out to some Metropolis!  :metal

I was walking home from the gym today and saw a guy driving a big white van. He had longish hair, a goatee and had shades on. I instantly thought "hey that looks like JLB!"

That's a very good approximation of what the guy looked like. I then started wondering if he had a forklift in the back of his van  :lol
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

I was thinking... There could also be a case of 'My Death is Dream Theater', if you end up having A wake...

At one of my English lessons, we had an exercise, where we were "playing God" in small groups. There was imaginary people with health problems requring an operation and we had to decide, in which order they had to be operated. For example, there were a child with cancer and a youngster with broken arm. One of the characters was waiting for gastrectomy, because she was obese. Her name was Vanessa.

When the teacher asked about groups' decisions, it appeared that everyone placed Vanessa to the bottom of the queue. I said silently to myself: "Poor Vanessa".

I'm going to city in the evening to the band practice by bus. I'll probably then ride my bike back to my dad's house (about 20 km/12 miles). When my dad suggested the biking, he said that I should just put some Dream Theater on, it takes about two songs to reach the place :lol.

Both me and my brother are DT fans. When he needs to wake up, I go into his room, and say loudly: "Open your eyes, Nicholas"

He startles easily. It's funny.  ;D

So... I kinda went a little overboard on a box of chocolates.... And the only thing (apart from chocolate cake) that came to mind was, "My self control escapes from me... still."

So last night I had a dream that Dream Theater was going to do a concert and it was going to be televised live. So I go to the channel that was supposed to show it, and there was something else on. So I'm looking through the TV Guide channel, desperately looking for DT's concert, and not seeing it. I start looking through the channel's website, I figured, it was 10 in the morning maybe the concert was supposed to be at 10 at night, which would make more sense, I guess. But no, the website says 10 in the morning and then I see it says that the concert would be shown on the actual website, and not on TV.
So I start rummaging through the website, looking for the stream of it, and not seeing it, and I'm agonizing over it and then finally I find the link to the page. By the time I do, though, the concert is already over, and the only version of it I could watch on the website was a tiny, low resolution (320xx240) mobile version. :(

I once had a dream that I was at a DT show. They were playing In the Presence of Enemies and they all had Jack o' Lantern heads.
