Although I play drums and keyboards, I'll still have to put Petrucci on the first place because of his style, sound, songwriting, lyrics, but most of all, his personality.

Portnoy comes in second because basically he's the one who made me want to pick up drumsticks.

Rudess is third because it's mostly him that injects DT's music with that classic prog vibe that drew me to DT in the first place. He makes DT special and interesting.

For years, James' voice was the only element of the DT sound that I wasn't entirely fond of. This changed radically over time, and today I can probably say that he's among my top 3 favorite singers(if not THE).

Can't really rank the rest, I absolutely love Mangini and he will probably grow a lot on me over time, JMX is cool, Kevin's playing was always tasteful; I really like Sherinian, although more for his solo and Planet X stuff, and Charlie...well, not much to say, but I honestly thought he sang Metropolis a lot better than James on WDADRU.
