The video's pretty corny but the song rocks, and...holy moly is she hot.

Correct on all counts. And she's older than she looks. I think her secret must be locked within that crystal ball.

Sir GuitarCozmo

She's like a hotter version of internet sensation "wifey".

BlobVanDam

Much much much hotter. Although I wouldn't mind if they swapped jobs for a while. :eyebrows:

I apologize if you answered this in another thread, but are you doing/have already done work for the new album/tour?

I just finished the Wizard for the tour obviously, which is already being used during their current leg, and I've just started on some videos for the new album.

Since he works for the band and is working on videos to use with the songs, I'm guessing the answer is "yes."

ddtonfire

Whoa, where have I been? BVD is back! Nice to see you around here again.

MrBoom_shack-a-lack

I feel like someones idea got stolen:

Don't know him but he seems like a douche.

fivestring

Yeah, it seems someone owes Blob a chunk of change!

However, now that it exists - Jordan needs to see this and order/have one made and really make it the next Wizard's tool in his arsenal!

BlobVanDam

I'm sure JR linked me to that circular keyboard a while back, so he's aware of it. Probably not too practical especially for MIDI controllers, but at least you'd look good doing it. :lol

Bolsters

It just looks like several curved boards stuck together to make a circle, so I don't think it would be difficult to set up at all. They could be daisy-chained using MIDI through ports so that all of them output to the one synth and so all have the same sound, or a synth that can output multiple sounds so each board has a different sound (if those exist?), or just a synth for each of them. Derek Sherinian had at least three boards set up live when he was in the band didn't he? Logistically it's pretty simple.

I more meant ergonomically speaking, being surrounded by all of your keys and controllers. Even that pitch bender looks a little out of the way, since there's no "end" to stick it. Imagine having all of the regular controllers and pedals etc included too. Even for the rotating stand JR has to have duplicate sets of pedals, so can you imagine for a 360 degree circular keyboard?  :eek Duplicate controllers everywhere!

Bolsters

Yeah, fair point. Also I imagine that in a gig without the benefit of proper lights, it might also be difficult to see where one controller ends and the next begins, because there's doesn't appear to be anything obvious separating them at all.

black_biff_stadler

That's an easy fix. Just make the last natural key of each controller a non-white color.

King Postwhore

I will not acknowledge Blob until he creates Zydar playing his hookers and cocaine flying everywhere.

Now that would be awesome.

Or Blob. :lol

Cocaine flying off his fingers with his eyebrow moving up and down.  Exchange a keyboard for a couch. :lol
