JLB: "It's inevitable we will do Evening With shows again"

SeRoX

Once again I understand that I really love Canadian accent.

Really happy that they consider "An Evening With Show" and "Acustic Concert". Plus, really nice to hear some good news about his upcoming solo album. Unpatiently waiting!

Oh God, a DVD from this tour would be sick.

I really like the fact that we so much of everyone now. JLB, LP, and JR seems to really be making an effort to reach out to the fans, much so now than in years past. It reminds me why I really got into Dream Theater in the first place. I'm sure MM will get more comfortable with it in time, and JM is due for a 15+ minute interview!

I liked JLB's knowledge of the universe until he said the Earth was 400,000,000 years older than it actually is.  :P

That was the thing that stuck out to me the most!  :metal The fact that they've already been discussing it and have several cool ideas about it is great news. The way I understood it was that a new DVD WILL happen and be shot during this tour. I' would guess a show in the next US leg, probably a NY venue being that's thier home turf and the crowd(s) will be almost guaranteed sellouts. Or, a Chicago show.....

How much do you want to bet that they film it in Jakarta?

James did such a great job that interview. Very honest and intelligent.

The news that a new DVD is being discussed and that the Evening With Tours will eventually happen has me extremely excited.  :hefdaddy

what sall I say,
I love JLB, an interview with only good news, great views.
Very honest about the years of problems with his voice,
very nice mention of KM,
JP is the man from day one.
The only one I guess, who will not like the interview is MP,
not mentioned with one word he did get some slaps,
or was I the only one who heard that?
Thanks JLB :hefdaddy :heart

Mladen

The guy's still doing the best interviews in the band.  :tup

And yeah, I just can't wait for the new live DVD!!!  :metal :metal :metal

DP_Gumby

He did mention 3D?  :omg: Now that could be interesting to see.  ;D And with a killer-setlist... Now that would blow my mind.

weezul

good interview, it seems james likes to make it clear they are fine without mike. to be fair after things mp said about his vox, i can see why JLB would interview that way, and rightly so imo. Nice

Notice when they zoom in on Cap'n CJS' hand. The black spot! :yarr

Damn JLB, you have nice taste in watches. ;) Can't beat the 18k 53/Flightdeck (not sure which one exactly) U-Boat watch. About $20,000-$25,000 USD. Makes sense, a pirate would have a U-Boat watch.  :yarr

I suspect the band purchased it for him so he'd actually come in on time.
