For those of you who aren't redditors, an AMA (ask me anything) is an invitation to ask him whatever we want.

Dominici is a really cool guy.

I'd like to ask, how he finds James LaBrie as a singer, progressive singer.

5/8 douchebags intentionally trolled it. In other news, the sky is still blue, death, taxes...

zxlkho's comments in the thread about it gave off that indication although upon further reading I see it was maybe just him from 5/8 and some other schlubs. To rephrase it, it was pretty unnecessary and dickish for folks to just pile on when a musician is attempting to have an open communication with fans.

I just saw this and was about to link it. I've never read any of his interviews or anything. I somehow wasn't expecting him to be so laid back and funny. He's kinda awesome.

He's on facebook as well. And as much of a nice and funny guy as he is, just don't say I didn't warn you about his conspiracy theory (especially related to alien overlords) rants.

Well, who else but DTF and 5/8 would ask him questions? Realistically, he's a guy who sang for a band 20 years ago that few people have heard of.

He has always been really complimentary.  I dont have links to the interviews off hand but there was one in particular where the guy asked about criticism of his voice and he said there will always be people that criticize.  I will paraphrase from what I remember but Dominici said, "People even criticize James...and really how can you criticize a guy with a voice like that?  So I don't take it too personally, people will find something to complain about."

If I'm not mistaken didn't he act like a childish jerk right here on this very board?

The only experience I've had with him was years ago when I was still doing the track of the day thing. Once in a while I'd look through the members page to see new members and invite them into the group. When I saw his screen name, I really didn't think it would be him and TBO didn't care, but I sent him the same invite I sent others. The reply I got back was 'Please read this post'., and then there was a link for me to click on. I went there, and it was a thread that he posted pretty much telling people that he really was who his screen name said he was, and please don't send him any private messages.
I mean, I guess I understand, since some view him as a star, but I thought it was a pretty cold and impersonable way to be. Frankly, I'm more starstruck to know that Tobias Lundgren from Moon Safari is a member of this forum than I was to learn about the guy who took DT nowhere being here.

Yep. He's very entertaining in that regard.

Ehh, sometimes, but it was usually tongue in cheek.
