BAI is their best song since 6DOIT and I'm talking about Blind Faith.

Here's my problem with BAI:  it totally rips off Distant Early Warning (Rush) and Clocks (Coldplay).   And i can't listen to it without hearing those songs.

I think I never ever heard a connection between BAI and Clocks. And to say that I listen to both of them fairly often.

I absolutely love ADTOE, the only thing that I'm not entirely so much are the lyrics to Outcry; I find some of the parts them too simple. Especially the first part ("But freedom has a price, the cost is buried in the ground").

I absolutely hate Coldplay, but I know Clocks. I don't hear any resemblance..

Timestamps? I don't hear any similarities whatsoever, between any of the songs.

0:50 to 1:05 of BAI
Clocks just go to 2:00 or so, but that theme is though the whole song.

For Distant Early Warning, it should be pretty obvious.  if not, here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rC0u9MdHA98
Go to 0:27 and match with:
0:33 to :50 of BAI

Similar but hardly obvious.

BTW, don't listen to the Blues. Everysong IS the same.

Clocks is by and far my absolute FAVORITE Coldplay song. I'm going to have to tell you something REALLY important here. You're wrong.

I am listening to this album for the second time today.  Hard to believe it has been out almost five months.  It just keeps getting better and better.  So glad this album lived up to the hype.  I might actually have to see them a second time for this album if they tour here again.

I can't believe it's still not gotten even a little stale for me yet, given how much I've listened to it. Easily my third favourite album behind I&W and ToT, the whole album totally exceeded my expecations.

Cannot wait to hear some of the tracks live next week. BAI, BITS, OTBOA and Outcry are all going to be amazing  :metal
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

Listened to the whole album while walking to work today. good stuff

For all of you Sirius XM listeners out there: Liquid Metal has been playing LNF more frequently than I would expect...which is pretty awesome!

But yeah, I don't really know why (perhaps it has to do with the drummer search, etc) but I feel more attached to ADTOE than other albums. That isn't to say that other albums aren't stronger in some aspects, but I suppose this record carries some memories with it.

Not even close.  You're trying too hard.

I'm not trying at all - that's my point.  I would have expected that you, of all people, would be able to hear the Rush keyboard progression.

But there is no Rush keyboard progression. More people would hear it if the similarities you were talking about were there.

I hear a three-note progression that is vaguely similar, but that's about it.
