Would love to have seen DT support Metallica on the Death Magnetic tour, purely to see DT on one of Metallicas awesome stages on the centre of the floor of the arena, and to give them an opportunity to play big arenas, get more exposure and totally give Metallica a run for their money. Everyone knows Metallica, whilst nobody I know apart from my mate and my wife have ever heard DT... Thats not right!

Steel Panther  :metal

but seriously, Myrath.

I'll take an Evening With over any support though.

Savatage.  A DT/Tage tour would have been phenomenal.  Unfortunately, it will probably never happen now because Savatage no longer tours, but in lieu of 'Tage, a tour with Jon Oliva's Pain would be amazing as well.

Symphony X or Fates Warning would be great touring partners as well, but DT has toured with both bands before, so while I certainly wouldn't mind if they toured together again, I would rather see them with someone new.

A festival show with Adrenaline Mob, Chroma Key, Planet X, and O3 would be awesome. They'd do a reunion performance of course.

Well...even though I really dislike AM, I have to admit this would be sweet.  :metal

That would be really, really weird.

One of the obvious choices is Porcupine Tree, seeing as they have already toured with Opeth. But I would have loved to see Dream Theater tour with Alice in Chains before Layne died, but it would even be a good show now without him.

Can you imagine how awkward that would be backstage? I'd probably rather watch that than the performances. :lol

OSI, Amorphis or Sonata Arctica

Would love to see Sonata Arctica in concert.  Maybe get Jordan and Henrik to do some dueling Keytars :)
That'd be cool! :metal I've seen SA live twice and they're a great live band.

A co-headlining Coheed And Cambria/Dream Theater show. I would travel to the ends of the Earth to see that.

Really? I would love that. Earth, Wind & Fire and DT are my two favorite bands, and Chicago is pretty cool too. Wouldn't be weird at all, although narrow minded people probably couldn't see how it would be logical. To me quality music is quality music.

Saw them back in '07, great live performers.

That would be weird. Very weird. Concert bills are determined along genre lines because there isn't a consensus which bands create "quality" music.
