WARNING: Complete and utterly crazy theory inside!!!!

Ok, here it goes: Remember Van Halen's "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"? As we all know, the point of that album name was what it spelled. (F.U.C.K.)
Well, one thing that just struck was that A Dramatic Turn Of Events = ADTOE

Soooooo, what if A Dramatic Turn of Events is actually an "incorrect" expansion of ADTOE, something with the words "Dream Theater" in the middle?

Let your imagination run wild: What else could "ADTOE" stand for?

On a slightly serious note, what the theory has going for it is the fact that A Dramatic Turn Of Events is just such a lame album title. I could never understand how they would choose such a title, and I have yet to hear a single soul saying it's a good title.

It was pointed out when the title was first released that, disregarding those little words like conjunctions and articles, that you have aDToE, or Dream Theater Eleven.

This is a rare occasion that I agree with you. The title has no originality whatsoever just like the previous album BC&SL. They seem like slightly different versions of someone else's ideas. Oh well... $:-\$
