Somebody posted about how 'This is the Life' the weak  link or something like that....

Anyway, whoever it was is obviously around 20, no disrespect, but if whoever it was, was a bit older, he would obviously understand what the lyrics were about

In my humble and 44 year old opinion it's probably the best thing I've ever heard, lyrically and musically

Judge when you get older, trust me

It is the perfect statement, trust me......son :metal

Just because you don't like another user's opinion, doesn't mean he or she is right or wrong. That said, I love the song.

I'm 21 and thoroughly enjoy This Is The Life.  Therefore, I assert that appreciation of the song or its lyrical message actually has nothing to do with age.

Think maybe it's just that people have varying tastes?

Yeah, I thought so, too.

PetFish

Who's this chucker?

He's 44 and lumping people into a stereotype but claiming to be mature?  And then the "... son" at the end?  Yeah, real mature.

BlobVanDam

I didn't realize age made your opinions more objectively correct somehow. Oh wait, it doesn't! You'd expect someone of 44 years of age to know that better than any 20 year old.

TITL is one of my very favourites on the album, but that didn't take age to realize. Just my own opinion.

Guys, no disrespect. That means we can't touch him.

Syzzle

I'm 21 and This Is The Life is one of my favorite songs on the album.

Kind of blows a huge hole in your theory doesn't it?

Rob24

I'm 21 and absolutely love the song as well, but I have to admit that I don't quite feel the lyrics (yet). They seem a bit too general and lots of people have written this kind of lyrics already. But is that an age problem?  :lol
