Got New Headphones

Just got my 600 ohm DT880s in, decided to fire up some DT for my first listen.

Oh boy, these new cans just make DT sound that much better.

First song: Metropolis Pt 1. Second: Learning to Live.

Probably listen to BAI, BITS and Outcry, then the entirety of SFAM next . A night of Dream Theater for me, and I'm even taking a break from Skyrim to listen .

Using my Xonar Essence STX's line out, using ASIO in foobar to my Littledot MK3 tube amp. Using FLAC as source.

Sweet! I love that new headphone feeling. Back in June I bought Denon's ah d5000. couldn't be happier.  They sound awesome, so much bass. I've been listening to cd's I haven't listened to for years.

Oh PS:

These headphones make the drum mixing in ADTOE sound perfect. The drums sound pretty much as loud as everything else (or as clear I should say).

And makes me appreciate Mangini's drumming even more.

I ordered a new pair of headphones the other day. They're only $65, but I've never had a pair of headphones that costed more than $30 before now, so I'm looking forward to hearing the difference in quality.

I recently got new headphones too. FII and SDOIT are definitely the standouts for sound quality to me, and sound AMAZING on them.

I'm using FLAC rips too, headphones are Sony MDR-V6.

i've got the sony mdr-rf6000's.  wireless, and reeeeediculous.  d.t. sounds sick with them.
