The setlist.fm changes are based on what you have commented here, so....

You got it. Plus, the guy who posted the setlist there is spanish or spanish-speaking, and as such hardly attended the show...

TAC

Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.

Dellers

I'm hoping for the same setlist tomorrow as in Finland then. I've seen TDEN night before, but not TROAE. While TDEN is cool enough, TROAE is far more interesting and have a great chorus. If they do that they'll only play one song that I've seen live before (Surrounded).

Yup, according to SetlistFM, the only changes are indeed TDEN for TROAE and WFS/FFH for TSM/BTS.
That is correct, those were the changes they made for the Stockholm gig.

jsem

I'm back home from the show, it was better than I had expected it to be. It was awesome.

A little disappointed with the setlist though, not enough 5/5 songs.

DarkLord_Lalinc

How did they manage Portnoy's vocals in TDEN? Samples?

nestcmartin

So... this was the setlist?

Dream Is Collapsing/ Bridges in the Sky
6:00
Build Me Up, Break Me Down
Surrounded
The Dark Eternal Night
Drum Solo
A Fortune in Lies
Outcry
Wait For Sleep
Far From Heaven
On the Backs of Angels
War Inside My Head
The Test that Stumped Them All
The Spirit Carries On
Breaking All Illusions
Pull Me Under

BlackInk

The show was indeed great, and I'm pretty much fine with the setlist since we got Breaking All Illusions.

(and Periphery played Racecar which was unexpected but extremely welcome)

Petrucci did it, he also did the "WAR INSIDE MY HEAD!" thing. But samples were used in the two "funny" sections in The Test That Stumped Them All.

indalo

Good setlist but I wanted more changes :(

Do you think we'll have more changes in other concerts or only two setlists in Europe?

Elite

Either of the two will do for the show in The Netherlands. I can't wait to see Bridges, Surrounded, 6:00, The Test and Spirit live :)

This is indeed set B, but normally they would have As I am as an encore, but someone told JP that it had been like 7 years ago since they have played pmu in Stockholm, so they decided to play pmu for the Stockholm fans.

Was so nice meeting Systematic and friend and the other ppl at the aftershow.
Loving your country.

Jeroen

fibreoptix

I hope some videos from this show crop up... I'd be very interested to hear JP's attempt at the vocals on TDEN. Anybody who was there, how did he do?

moffatt

omfg literally so mad was in a club saw setlist and they switched troae for tden and setlist B is what will be played at wembley so pissed of troae my 2nd favourite song so literally rage quit the club

Acideus

Just got home.
I didn't mind TDEN, even though I never listen to the album version anymore because I find it quite bland, it worked great as a live song.

The fact that it replaced TROE though, yeah, kinda sucked.

this is exactly how i feel right now. I really really REALLY hope they play TROAE in Manchester! I don't dare try and figure out if it will happen or not

moffatt

If they follow A B A B etc like they did on US tour you will get troae don't worry, but us londoners won't :(

I think by that time they will start to change it up a bit, just like they ended up doing in the US anyway. And who knows, they may even have a C setlist we don't know about (because Mangini knows ALOT more songs now then he did before the US tour).

Rob801

Here's hoping we get a set list C tomorrow night (it being Friday and all). TBH I'll be happy with whatever we get but I prefer A to B and B is probably what we'll get if they don't pull out a C (with LNF and TITL?... Wishfull thinking  ;)).

I think that if they were going to play LNF and TITL on this tour, then they would have already. Just guessing, though.

RaiseTheKnife

If they played Lost Not Forgotten on this leg I would have had to pony up for a trip to Europe.

Also, i tried to guess the A/B/A/B rotation when i bought an early ticket to Austin and got kinda burned.. due to Eugene the cello guy performing in Boston, which threw off the pattern.(thankfully the North American B shows subsequenlty materialized so that I could catch the setlist I was hoping for)

the instrumental section in TDEN is gnarley, so you at least have that to look forward to

sunseeker

I'm thinking they'll change the setlist up as they progress to countries they visited in the summer. Scandinavia didn't get any gigs back then so me thinks OTBOA and the drum solo might be dropped later on. I don't really see the point of having it for the second time, as I see it as a way to welcome the new guy.

I REALLY hope they don't play As I Am in London - I like the song, but I've seen it so many times. Pretty sure if they bring it out this time round, it'll have been played every tour since it was released.

I hope this.

Also is there was a setlist C, or even D, Wembley would still get B  :millahhhh

Same as Milan  :millahhhh

Our only hope is that they play to consecutive shows with the same setlist for whatever reason.

JP told me that they won't play TITL on this leg!

Had an amazing evening, the m&g, the show, the aftershow! Wow really cool to get to talk to the guys a second time more thorough.
And Jeroen, thank you for your company - I had a blast!

..for putting out an amazing show in Stockholm!

This was my 4th time seeing them but my first with Mangini and it was by far the most enjoyable show so far!
And Mangini man....he eats DT songs for lunch! haha

Everyone in DT was on top even though JLB did a little funny rytmic slip in The test that stumped them all. :lol
And i must give a  :hefdaddy too the light crew.

By the way: my first post on DTF  :metal

Madman Shepherd

TDEN sounds pretty good!  Of course, I love Systematic Chaos and actually didn't mind the heavier vocals...but I totally love that James is back to handling 98% of the vocals.

Maybe they'll drop OTBOA and play both Root and TDEN instead of just either of them when they tour in those countries. The drum solo is different from the one MM played last year so I think it will stay.
