The change of pace is what makes the song so freaking awesome!  Would you complain about the beginning of stairway to heaven being different from the song?  Or Bohemian Rhapsody?  Or Hallowed By Thy Name?  Or One?  Come on, BIA is freaking awesome start to finish!

Tbh, I'd be curious to hear from someone who voted "no". The way the question was worded, it's not like "is  this your favourite intro?" but do you like it. I have a hard time imagining why someone who presumably likes DT enough to be on this forum would not like that intro lol

Interesting. I can definitely understand how a connection to Dragonforce could turn you off the song.  Is there a particular DF song this reminds you of? Or just their sound in general? This doesn't sound too much like DF to me, but I'm not too familiar with their stuff beyond a few hits.

Don't know if I can quite agree with this.

I've always felt that people overstate the sameness of Dragonforce songs.  I mean, granted, most of their guitar solos are pretty much identical, and the choruses are similar enough that most of them are ridiculously predictable, but there is some variety in the Dragonforce discography.

I'd say they have at least two or three songs.  =D

That being said, nothing they've ever done reminds me even vaguely of the BAI intro.
