Critics have been comparing Outcry to The Dance of Eternity since ADTOE's release.

These two songs are just as similar as Learning to Live with The Dark Eternal Night.

Thats a good point. It's like comparing apples to oranges. One is an instrumental, the other one has an instrumental section. Using the above quote, a better question may be; instrumental sections of TDEN vs. Outcry. I'm just saying.....

I love Outcry but better than TDoE?  Not for me.  TDoE is one of my all time favorite songs so it's not a knock on Outcry at all.  I just like TDoE more.
