The page is mostly a recap of DT's Atlanta set (awesome show, by the way) and then there multiple interview segments with Mike Mangini on the bottom of the page that took place prior to the show (once you watch the initially uploaded interview segment, you have either the option to select a new segment or there is a link that appears towards the end of the interview that will take you to the next one). MM discusses practicing, Berklee, injuries, and TSCO documentary.

I enjoyed getting to watch these interview segments because (1) they were conducted at the show I attended and (2) they contained some interesting tidbits about MM that I had not known before. In fact, I only found out about this interview because I struck up a conversation with the Editor in Chief prior to DT coming on-stage. Honestly, listening to MM interview/play/etc makes me smile and feel all warm inside. The man is contagious!

Much love and appreciation for MM!  :heart :hefdaddy

Enjoy!

Mangini wanted to play hockey originally. Mangini just sky-rocketed in Nick's book  :lol

Good interview

Mike went to the same college as me- Bentley College. I wish I could say I also became the drummer of Dream Theater but I guess the degree was not enough...great interview for sure.

If I'm not mistaken, you would've needed at least six to have had a chance... :neverusethis:

But seriously, good interview(s) for sure. The whole Software Engineering bit was really cool. I love how open and 'real' he is.

It's the only reason i'm not progressing. The trouble with Music College is that you have so many assignments that there really isnt much time left to practice your instrument all that much.

TAC

Is it me or is the sound fuc#ed up?

EDIT: It's me!
Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
