Home? Second one I have no idea, but a home run and homing missile.

Correct!

-Home plate/Home run
-home key is above the end key on a computer keyboard
-homing missile

The second one for your guess could be; SFAM has seven scenes. Home is the Sixth scene so it is "above the end"ing scene in chronology.

Home is above the Delete key on my keyboard.

DreamTension

Well shit, I fail lol.  Are you on a laptop? I checked 3 different brand keyboards!

Scenes From A Memory has 9 scenes actually.

No problem. Great riddle!  :)

I believe it's MK_Ultra's turn.

MK_Ultra

Oh no now I have to come up with one...

1) Sweating bullets
2) Suicidal tendencies
3) Platinum, Sulphur, Deuterium

JustinVK

Sweet!

1. Baseball
2. Above the End
3. Missile
The Shattered Fortress.
1) Baseballs shatter glass (prison)
2) Last song of the epic series
3) Missiles are aimed at Fortresses.

And i am sorry for going out of turn and guessing multiple times at once, I can see how that would be annoying. Sorry guys

JustinVK

Also for posting again... I thought that riddle wasn't solved yet

Panic Attack is my guess.
1) Your sweat when you panic
2) Suicide COULD be an option for the person described in the song
3) Delirium, deuterium.

TheGreatPretender

That's a tough one, MK_Ultra... I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say, "This Dying Soul".
1. Because Sweating Bullets is a Megadeth song where in the music video he talks to the mirror.
2. Because Suicidal Tendencies is a Thrash band and This Dying Soul is one of DT's heaviest, thrashiest songs. OR because alcoholism is a suicidal tendency in and of itself.
3... Beats the hell out of me.

MK_Ultra

Nope to both of them. This may be harder than I thought... :-X

Jaffa

Is it ACTUALLY a Dream Theater song?

Because it occured to me that maybe the third clue could refer simply to 'elements', as in Elements of Persuasion.

DreamTension

A Change of Seasons?

- a crimson sunrise may make you sweat
- Dead Poets Society had suicide
- platinum is 78th element, sulphur is 16, Deuterium is in hydrogen which is 1.  Add them = 95, the year Change came out.

MK_Ultra

Yes it's a DT song, it isn't ACOS, and let me give you a hint (probably making it incredibly easy, but oh well).

For the third hint, the symbols of the elements make an acronym.

darkshade

Elements of Persuasion?

Caught In A Web?

Jaffa

War Inside My Head.

Platinum = Pt, Sulfur = S, Deuterium = D.  PTSD = post traumatic stress disorder = War Inside My Head.

Not really sure on the other clues.  Maybe just describing symptoms of PTSD, maybe referencing Megadeth, dunno.  The acronym hint gave it away for me.

Yep. War Inside My Head is a line in Megadeth's Sweating Bullets, and a song by Suicidal Tendencies.

Jaffa

Was just about to edit my post because I realized it was a line in the Megadeth song.  Oh well.  Good one.  :tup

I have no ideas on clues, so someone else can go ahead.

Podaar

I'll go, but this could be too easy.

1. A wave could wash it away
2. Where Modest's chick dances
3. The only station in town

Lifting Shadows Off A Dream?

Sorry, darkshade, that's not what I had in mind. Although I'd love to hear how you arrived at that!

Second and third clues, I don't know.  I can't get anything from them.  I feel stupid about it, but, oh well.

Wild guesses based on the first clue are Take the Time and Lines in the Sand.

No sir. Although, I will admit that I thought Lines In The Sand would be a good red herring.

Podaar

Ok, I'm going to not be near a computer for a while (as I'm sure is true with most of you...it is Friday night after all). So, in the interest of keeping it moving I'll add some clues.

You can deduce whole answer from each clue.
1. Is laying on the beach.
2. Modest is the first name of a composer.
3. Is a gas station.

TheGreatPretender

Shell... Solitary Shell I'm guessing?

Makes sense, as in "only Shell in town". Have no idea what the other clues could mean though.

Well a shell is on the beach and can get washed away by a wave.
But yeah, the modest one beats the hell out of me...

Anyway that's what we're settling on?

I guess I'll post my next clues...

1. The Black Swan
2. God
3. Love

Pols Voice

I looked up the Modest thing...Modest Mussorgsky has a composition called Ballet of the Unhatched Chicks, also called Ballet of the Chicks in Their Shells. I actually own it, but didn't think of it. Clever clue. :tup

For fucks sake though do not respond to wild guesses, it really cheapens the whole thing like crazy.

3. Love

Sacrificed Sons?

1. September 11th was a Black Swan Event
2. "If God's..."
3. "...true Love..."

Podaar

Yes, ya'll got it!

SuperTaco

Hmmm... ok.

1) Negative emotions
2) Prepared
3) Beginning of the end

Try guessing THAT in 9 minutes... >.>
