It is not Endless Sacrifice, nor is it Stream of Consciousness, nor The Dance of Eternity, but they're all interesting takes and I guess you're almost there.

You guys are absolutely right on the third clue, but I'll give you another hint:
- The first and second clue are both clues to the same certain aspect of the song (though in different forms).

Here it is again:

1. Less is more
2. The longest of it's kind
3. Death has come before

At the risk of irritating the mighty cubed one  :lol

This riddle still has me buffaloed but in the interest of maybe helping someone smarter than me...I wonder if the clue 1. is referring to Kevin Moore. Read it as "Less is Moore"

Elite

No, I'll help you guys..

The first and second clue both refer to the song title, the third clue you guys already had right..
Should be doable with this information.

Beyond this life?
or maybe trial of tears

The Boomr

Is it Octavarium? Sacrificed Sons comes before, and it is the longest track on the album. Not sure about the first clue...

I'm giving in to the way everybody wants to do this.
I think it's Far From Heaven and if it is then this is the worse set of clues provided since the start of this thread heh

#252
Oh, God. Did I really make it that difficult?

Clue 1 refers to the song title
Clue 2 refers to the song title (obvious one this is then)
Clue 3 refers to the song that precedes it on the album it's on (yes, it is a song about death, clearly)

The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun assuming you refer to the title being the longest but I still dunno what less is more refers to.

I think this is a matter of these being awful, awful clues.

This thread has officially gone off the rails.  :lol

Don't know the thought process behind the first clue really, but the two latter are spot on IMO

Elite

Awful clues then, well fine.

It was The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun..

1. the title is made up of one-syllable words only
2. the title is the longest (as in most words) out of DT's discography
3. the song that precedes it (Afterlife) is about death

yeah, maybe I overthought it too much and made my clues a bit far-fetched, still I didn't think it would take this long.

Yes I still don't understand what less is more means though..
All righty:

1. The sacred majesty cube.
2. Green light.
3. And Cyrax sings.

Ok, I'm going with, A Rite of Passage

1. The sacred cube is a Masonic symbol and the Majesty Cube in Metty's avatar is from the music video of the song.
2. Green light means go, i.e. pass on, passage (weak, I know)
3. Cyrax is a cyborg (robot) ninja, which Myung has been characterized as and JMX's bass intro to the song really sings.

That's all I got.

Progmetty

Beautiful, you were just beautiful there
Except for the third crew where Cyrax (MK cyborg) singing refers to the Bebot solo. Bebot is the small robot on the iPhone app JR solos with on the song. But I really liked your take on the clue too.
Spot on.

Podaar

I suppose that prior to submitting my 'guess' I should have been prepared for a riddle of my own.  :blush

Now I suppose, y'all will have to wait for me to come up with something. BRB

The Root Of All Evil?

1. In the third circle the gluttons lie in perpetual punishment. Gluttony > greed for food > greed for money > money is the root of all evil?
2. Clueless
3. The steps in TROAE

Correct! Well done, although technically Avarice (greed) and Gluttony had their own circles in Dante's Inferno. I mistakenly said the 3rd circle when I should have said 4th. My apologies.

The second clue is that in the song Money, Pink Floyd says money is the root of all evil but 1 Timothy 6:10 actually says the love of money is the root of all evil. Greed

wasteland

1. Facebook hardcore lurker
2. Iconoclast
3. Especially special inception

4. Mike, get funky
