I'd just like to add that; while I've ranked them in the spirit of this thread, I actually love all this music.

I had some trouble fitting the exact spot for a few of them, so it's not perfect. But the ones at the top are pretty much set there for good, and the ones at the bottom could easily move up several spots depending on my mood and whatnot. All of these songs are awesome, though.

That really doesn't mean either is a bad song in my eyes. While I consider I&W to be simply a good album (in my opinion several DT albums are significantly better) and not so amazing, it's quite consistent and even Another Day, which I placed the lowest, is a nice song.

That's why I had a lot of trouble making this ranking, there are several cases where it really feels bad for me to see a song placed so low on the list, but you know... all of the above feel even better for me. Lost Not Forgotten is probably the one that hurts the most, it's a really cool song and I enjoy it a lot, but... I'm just force to place it at the bottom of ADTOE... at least for now.

ADTOE may be the most consistent DT album ever in my opinion. It's not my favourite DT album, but it's the most consistent.

Yeah, it is more LOL-worthy than rage-worthy.

That was actually quite a bit more difficult once I got past This Is The Life.  I don't think any of the songs are weak (on either album), except maybe (maybe) Build Me Up, Break Me Down, but that's definitely my chosen order.

When you put it that way it doesn't sound funny.

Bosk's list did tickle me a bit, though.  It's not that there's anything wrong with his opinion or anything, I just find it funny when people have such different lists sometimes.  For instance, the bottom of my list was BMU,BMD and LNF, whereas Bosk ranks both of those well above two or three which are near the top of my list. 

Variety of opinions can be funny sometimes.

Well, it just always winds me up a bit when someone is being condescending (I know it was probably a joke, but still) because someone else has an unorthodox opinion, especially if it's a newer album vs. "classic" album case.

Don't get me wrong, I love ADTOE, but for me, nothing touches Images and Words. Its been my favorite album ever made for over 15 years now and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Any list that leaves Metropolis out of the top three I can't take very seriously. 

I&W was and still is unparalleled.  It has three songs on it that are so well written and performed that they are borderline unreal.  Even so, ADTOE does have a very solid core of four songs that really carry the album for me and make it their best in quite sometime.

I love Take the Time though.

Funny how two people that are huge fans of the same band can rate the songs so differently. You would never get this sort of conversation from your average casual fan of an average mainstream band.
