I went with A only because I while Outcry=BAI, I like Beneath the Surface a lot more and am not a huge fan of Caught in a Web.

Lets just say I feel bad for SF and am totally jealous of L.A.

Nick

I prefer the songs in A in 4 of the 5 matches, and am indifferent on the other match, so A for sure. But I really hope to see Caught in a Web and Wait for Sleep for the first time at one of my two shows.

skydivingninja

I like all the songs they're rotating out, but I guess i'd go with Setlist B since I like CIAW more than Forsaken and BAI more than Outcry.  Wish we could get setlist B with UAGM as the encore.   THAT would be killer.

serrano

B because of BAI. If they play similar setlists in the european leg, then i hope to see both.

yeshaberto

b because of BAI but otherwise they both had pro/cons for me

lonestar

Anytime I see DT is a gift. And hearing BTS, with the crowd singing along, is a gift I will cherish forever.

I would say B because of Breaking All Illusions, but A has Beneath the Surface which is my second favorite on ADTOE.
So it's a tough call.
In my spare time I make music! Check it out. :)

Setlist A.

I've seen CAIW live, but have seen Forsaken as well. CAIW is better live, but that's because I love Awake. Any of these is alright to be honest.
Still, having The Silent Man AND Beneath the Surface in there makes it worthwhile.
I guess I'll live long enough to see Breaking all Illusions someday, but for now I'd rather see Outcry, 'cuase I like the song better.
As for the encore, yeah, PMU would be better, but UAGM is one of my top songs on I&W, wouldn't mind seeing that again.

So, all in all. Setlist A.

Setlist B, hands down. Although I prefer Beneath the surface to Far from heaven, the other songs in setlist B are just amazing.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.  UAGM seemed like an odd encore choice to me, but Pull Me Under seems downright weird.
Why?  They've used PMU as an encore many times in the past.

B by a mile (because of BAI).

I'm curious what they'll play at the next few shows... I'm hoping we'll get Outcry and BAI in the same set.

?

Definitely Set B, although TSM and BTS would be nice. It's just that the latter 3 songs in the set B beat those of set A.

Xanthul

It comes down to BTS & UAGM vs WFS & BAI for me, I don't particularly care about the rest of the songs. Out of those pairs, I choose B because I love Wait For Sleep and BAI is one of the few songs from the new album that I really enjoy.

kirksnosehair

I sure hope it's B when I see them on October 10th

iamtheeviltwin

I will have to say setlist A.

TSM, BTS combines two of my favorite DT ballads and in an acoustic set would be incredible.
I know I am in the minority here, but I love Forsaken (the piano line, great chorus, and honestly I love the story told by the lyrics).  CIAW is also a favorite, but the edge goes to Forsaken.
They are playing BITS every show it seems, which is my favorite epic from the new album...I would be happy with either Outcry or BAI (not sure why the insane BAI love...)
As for the encore, UAGM is probably my favorite song from I&W, so I would prefer seeing it over PMU.  Either would be fine though.

So A it is on the strength of the acoustic set and Forsaken.

elizaalltiedup

Setlist A. There's no way I could pass up TSM and BTS, plus I like UAGM rather more than PMU.

Set A (San Francisco):
Beneath The Surface
Outcry

Set B (Los Angeles):
Far From Heaven
Breaking All Illusions

These are the ones that make the choice hard, but I'm going with set B.

hefdaddy42

Well, it's obvious that both set lists thus far have been sensational and I would love to see either one.

I think it's unrealistic for people to think that ALL the great new songs should be included, especially for a band that is known for changing up the setlists.  There is an old show business saying: "Always leave them wanting more."  You can't leave them wanting more if you blow your wad the first time.

I really want Setlist A, but if they rotate A-B-A-B and so-on, then I will get Setlist B on Oct. 4.

:'(

Oh, well, Setlist B is really good too (I just wanted BTS).

thunderdog10

If they keep rotating  these then I dont have to choose as I am seeing them in Clearwater and Orlando.  ;D

Hm, let's see....

The Silent Man vs Wait For Sleep
Beneath The Surface - Far From Heaven
Forsaken - Caught In A Web
Outcry - Breaking All Illusions (I'd much rather listen to BAI on the actual record but I feel it's not really a live song and Outcry definitely is more of a live song)
Under A Glass Moon - Under A Glass Moon

So, A wins I guess. However, I feel that Forsaken and Beneath The Surface are some of the weakest DT songs ever so I'd still pick B. I think.

I really don't think it's gonna be that limited  :lol
I'd say there's gonna be at least a C & a D.
Also A & B are gonna mix along the dates. It's not like they're out of printer paper for the set lists  ;D

BRGM

A.

But I'd liek to see both outcry and BAI in the same set, cuz that's a winner!

Lowdz

I would enjoy any of these songs but I would have to see BAI or there will be trouble.

There are songs in the non-rotating portion I would get rid of over these songs (These Walls, TGD) as I saw them on the Euro tour recently.

WFS or TSM is a tough call. Can't we have both?

Come back The Evening With shows so we don't have to have as many of these choices.

This'll be my first DT concert (Oct. 19 at The Tabernacle) so, honestly, I'd be happy with either setlist at the moment. Though, I am seriously considering driving down to Florida just to catch the other setlist in Pompano Beach.

Or, I am holding for Setlist C. This will consist of JP flexing his biceps in the general direction of Trivium, causing the band's spontaneous combustion. DT then decides to play ADTOE in its entirety, along with the other remaining songs from Setlists A & B to compensate for this "unfortunate" mishap.

Note: I have no problem with Trivium other than the fact that they're not DT

Just curious which one people prefer now that we have seen the two sets that will likely form the backbone of the U.S. tour.  Rather than listing both sets, I will list only the songs that are rotated.

Set A (San Francisco):
The Silent Man
Beneath The Surface
Forsaken
Outcry
Under A Glass Moon

Set B (Los Angeles):
Wait For Sleep
Far From Heaven
Caught In A Web
Breaking All Illusions
Pull Me Under

So close, but I don't care for Forsaken,  I prefer Under a Glass Moon, so far I like Outcry a little better then Breaking All Illusions, and would like to see Caught i n a web, and Wait For Sleep so i am leaning B.

The Silent Cody

Definitly B for me, but I love so much to see LNF live instead of for example Fatal Tragedy which I saw in July.

jcmistat

Was at the SF show I'm going with A.

The Silent Man/Wait For Sleep - One of DT's best ballad's. Easy choice for me.

Beneath the Surface/Far From Heaven - Another easy choice both are good but when you compare them against each other Beneath the Surface every time.

Forsaken/Caught in a Web - Forsaken is really high among my own ranking I love that song. Great for the crowd too while Caught in the Web is so so.

Outcry/Breaking All Illusions - I'm going with Breaking All Illusions its my 2nd favorite song on the album. While I ranked Outcry low, after hearing it live I've found new appreciation for it. That instrumental live was killer.

Under a Glass Moon/Pull Me Under - Pull Me Under although a great song is overrated for me. UAGM's solo is too good to pass up.

jsem

B with a fair amount of hesitation

Still.... UAGM has the best guitar solo ever. That's a pretty epic closer in my book.

Shadow2222

One of the biggest reasons I want setlist A would be that I would be seeing everything for the first time. I know its just one song, but I saw Pull Me Under during the Iron Maiden tour.

fadetoblackdude7

B.

But tonight will determine if there is a setlist C
