To rank them I would have to feel some are better or worse than others, and I can't. I love them all and don't have any thoughts about skipping tracks- every previous DT album has at least one song I skip at times, but not here.
Only time will tell whether this album stays as awesome as it is now, but so far I'm stunned by it.

After about 10 full listens...my ranking is definitely different than it would have been after just a few run throughs.  I feel every song on the album is excellent with the exception of (for now) Far From Heaven.  That song just isn't giving me the feeling that the others do.

WOW!  Writing them out like this for the first time really shows what an incredible set of songs ADTOE is for me...I find LNF totally amazing at times, and I absolutely love TITL, yet I have them ranked 7th and 8th!

After more listens I've changed to this. I still need to listen to BAI more. I'm still iffy if its the #2 song for me. I still can't figure out Outcry. LNF has clicked. BITS is on its own level. I want to see it live so bad, hoping for it next week in SF. As an opener it would be amazing.

Some controversial choices in there, I'm sure. That's not to say that there isn't something to like in all of them. OTBOA probably ranks so low because of the early saturation factor... Outcry because some of the instrumental section is just a little too much for me and LNF because... well... aside from the middle eastern vibe, it's a side of DT that just isn't my cup of tea.

Consider the rest stellar.

I think Dream Theater really had to of done something right if almost all of the fan base agrees that those two are the best tracks on the album.

Normally I like DT ballads, but I found them a little lacking on this album. They're still good, but not in the same league as the non-ballads on this disc (for me).
