I guess I could do the line 'em up thing.  I'll let the pairings I make speak for themselves on what I can say about the songs.

As I Am vs. Wither    Winner = As I Am

This Dying Soul vs. The Shattered fortress   Winner = The Shattered Fortress

Endless Sacrifice vs. A nightmare to Remember    Winner = Endless Sacrifice

Honor Thy Father vs. Rite of Passage   Winner = A Rite of Passage

Vacant+Stream of Consciousness vs. The Best of Times   Winner = The Best of Times

In The Name of God vs. The Count of Tuscany = The Count

Train of Thought vs. BC & SL    Winner = Black Clouds & Silver Linings

...And not just based on the winner of these matchups.   Train is my least favorite DT record. Not by much, but still my least fav.

Black Clouds,  when it was brand new and fresh... I was saying that it was challenging 6DOIT for my second favorite.   But it hasn't held up THAT well.    It's probably 5th on my list now.

I voted BC&SL, mainly because I think TOT has more weaker tracks (Honor Thy Father  :tdwn)

ToT. BCSL has two of my favorite DT songs (ANtR & TCoT), but ToT is the stronger album overall. I'm less inclined to skip ToT tracks than ANtR tracks if I'm listening through the whole album.

Cranky

Black Clouds & Silver Linings is the best album ever made by any band, anywhere on Earth... In fact,
I am willing to go as far as to say that it is the best album in the whole entire universe.

My only back-up to this statement is 11:19 of A Nightmare to Remember.

That's right, I said it.
